I made this for a friend and he was very happy with it.

Its actually very simple small project.
All you need is two sticks and a joint.
However to add little beauty, I trimmed its edges.

I call mistakes “experience”

Specially if its expensive! E.g. taking apart a zf 8 spd auto and accidentally remove the shell circlips from its tips..

The result is a chipped shell and that means mucho $$$ dinero.. lesson learned from experience, take the clip out backwards!!!

It was for a friend who lives nearby.
He was super excited to have this gift.
If you look closely, I drilled 4 holes at its corners so that he can attach this cross to a wall.
He told me since he has attached this at his home, he is receiving much appreciation & prayers.

I tried to make a classic type strong wooden box for a friend.
Since the box was wider, hence the portrait view of mobile camera didn’t catch it well.
I guess I should take photos in landscape mode.
But anyway.

It was Cheerr wood. Its local wood and some people also call it local pine because its grains are quite similar to Yellow pine.
But the difference is that Yellow pine (imported wood) is soft wood. And this cheer is medium dense wood and has some sort of natural sap/oil in it which provides best protection against termites.

It was my very very first project of woodworking nearly 3 years ago.
I paint it because reclaimed wood was used to make it.

You know the wooden pallets? There is a shop in Lahore who buy the wooden pallets, and sell their woods at the rate of Per Kg.
I bought 20 Kg wood from them available at different sizes and make this bench type table to put outside in the garden.

I used primer & base coat color since needs to enjoy life in garden where daily sunshin, moisture, rains, etc.

In this table you have followed the age old traditional design we see in havailies. My grandmother's house had tables similar to this. We used to sit out in the courtyard and use such table for tea. Nice.

Here is something you could think about. This is a high end stereo rack. Simple, but, the tricky bit are the feet.

These are there to prevent music vibration to travel to the component. Of course these are not available here but you do without them. There are some other designs that could be of interest to you.
