N.O.C help ( from sindh to Punjab)

Can anyone tell me where to obtain an N.O.C for moving the car from sindh to punjab, will be glad if anyone can provide detailed info.

i guess there is no N.O.C required for that, unless ur vehicle has no document issues

if the vehicle is registered on your name and if it is not being transported on any truck than no NOC required

Well i asked some Senior Traffic officers and Police walas they told me NOC is now required , for this the car has to be taken to the designated places where they check chasis number and engine number and complete papers and then issues an NOC. Will update u guys more will be going today to Sharifabad Police station traffice dept. 100 Rupees are required to issue an NOC.

i suggest you goto CPLC office take a print out from them and then visit the ACLC @ Sharifabad Police station (anti car lifting cell) submit copy of CPLC letter with your request with 'Token of Thanks for performing duty' make sure that every thing is very clearly printed & no corrections x outs.

NOC is required only if you have to send your car/bike out of Karachi by train or truck. Actually this is not a NOC but a proof that your car/bike is genuine, not stolen and not involved in any criminal activity.
If your vehicle is registerd in your name then there is no issue in getting a NOC. All this is to make money and give mental torture to people travelling by road. Recently i travelled from Islamabad to Karachi and back. Now police in Sindh asks for road insurance also.

I agree with you on this but I am taking it as precautionary coz Sindh police ki baar hi nirali hai they try to find ways to get money , specially the check post in sukkur , Last time i travelled alone so police ko mo dena asan tha, but my family is going with me so i dnt want any one and anything bothering me .....

goto ACLC along with ur car.. they gonna take snaps of ur car, frame number, plates... its valid for i think a month or so, its merely a formality but u should opt for it..

Got stopped near the Hyderabad end of the superhighway, near the old toll plaza today. This is the first time I've heard of an NOC. Since I frequently drive on highways out of Karachi I think I'll get the document when I go back but if it is for a month then why are they asking for it? The car I drive is registered in my sister's name since I exchanged mine with hers. If I register it in my name, will I be asked for this document?

Very simple process now for NOC. Just visit ACLC sharifabad.

1. Get a form from outside of ACLC center. Fill in the form, attach document and CNIC copy with it.
2. Enter the ACLC center with your vehicle. They will witness chassis no and other details. Submit the form with 200rs fee.
3. Get your NOC after two hours.

Visited ACLC office today and got the NOC within 15-20 mins only. The process has been further simplified, all you need is the original CNIC and vehicle paper (no more photocopies). Pay the fees Rs 200/ at the counter, get some snaps done by the duty inspector and you'll have your NOC while sitting at some very comfortable chairs/sofas lying outside the room.

NOC is for taking the vehicle outside sindh, it can be punjab or any other province.
The validity of this NOC is 15 days only which means you should only visit ACLC when you have less than 15 days remaining from your travel date.
Not sure about their timings. You may google it. I visited them around 1230hrs on thursday.

It is only required on the day when you leave sindh. Nobody will stop you from entering sindh on your return with sindh registered number plate. Hence 15 days are more than enough i.e. you can leave sindh within 15 days after getting your NOC. Charges are Rs 200/- only.
