Need advice on tyres

I have to change my tyres for city 2007
Currently, I have Bridgestone tyres installed in my car. They were there when I bought the car.

Current tyre size is 185/65/R15
I know its not the stock size but with these tyres car feels pretty stable. However fuel average is compromised.

I have search through entire forum and found that different forum members suggesting different tyre sizes. My concern is that an optimum tyre size that is close to stock size and that adds decent amount of stability to car plus fuel average is also not disturbed considerably

I have a feeling that if I go for stock size, it will lower the car height and ground clearance will further decrease (Correct me if I am wrong)

Lastly, an other concern of mine is that I want to go for tyres that have least road noise. With my current tyres I experience considerable road noise inside the cabin

Kindly suggest me good tyre brand that is smooth , noiseless but it adds to stability

Also suggest me optimal tyre size

Honda City 2007 model came with 13 inch tyres not 15 inch. Your fuel economy is probably being compromised by using the wider tyres. I would suggest Yokohama (Made in Japan). I recently got BlueEarth ES32 for my City and they seem good enough.

The size you are using should be OK. I think 1.5 Steermatic came with the same size.

Michelin is the best, you can search over forums as anybody who bought it is fully satisfied.

Secondly regarding tyre size, the general rule of thumb is that you can upsize but the difference should not be more than 2%. Use any online tyre comparison tools and find which suits best.

Can i ask what is stock size of your car, the one that is written on driver side?

Yes it had a 1.5 VTEC engine and since you are already using 15" tyres so why not continue to use them?

stock size was 165/80r13
do you know how off your car is from stock
before i sold my car it was last on 185/70/13 size

its a under power car which barely manages

There are different companies
As per my personal experience I found bridgestone tyre food for city drive.
Where as Dunlop, falken, michellon, good year are better for long routes as they are soft an slight weight.
Regarding the size. You can go for 195/65/r15.
It ll compromise your average but not that much.
City 2007 is a very unstable car with very less road grip.
Ap you should go for atleast 195

The stock size on my doors is 165//80/R13
But when I bought the car it had 185/60/R15 installed on it - with the installed tyres the car good height and grip but fuel economy is compromised a bit

Now that my tyres are worn out and I am planning to install new tyres, I am in a fix as to go for which tyres, obviously, I am used to my current size but then I have a concern that if I go for lower height tyres like R13/R14, would it effect road grip and comfort issue,

I have two size options in mind
175/70/R13
185/70/R13
I have shortlisted after going through numerous forum threads, people seem happy with these two sizes

Can you also suggest which one is a better option out of these two?

Do you have anything in 145/80R13 or 155/80R13?

Tried contacting your dealer in Lahore for the same sizes, he instead started offering other chinese brands!
