Need advice regarding oil change of a Toyota Vitz 2012 in Peshawar

any leakage seepage of oil at your parking spot. At 1100 kms there shall be no loss of engine oil if there is no leakage or seepage. usually loss of 250-750 ml at 5000 kms is considered normal.

None that I've ever see in these past few months. Maybe the current oil is 5W-30 and it's being 'consumed' because of the engine being older? Can that even happen?

Relax. I have one similar vitz 12 model and this car has this issue of engine oil consumption so take it easy and just top up. Toyota addressed this issue in the facelift model which came in mid 2014.
Do check the pcv valve as well.

Sir I usually visit the toyota frontier motors dealership and their some foremen are very competent and they can do any sort of stuff through their workers if one guide them correctly. If they fail then i visit raja atta in pindi as he usually understands what others don't.

1KR- FE is notorious for engine oil consumption

My problem is that I don't know if my engine is 2NZ-FE or 2SZ-FE since both are 1.3 L (1299 v. 1298 cc). I took a picture of the engine number back when I was checking out the car but couldn't find any info there either. Here's the pic

It's hard to read without zooming in. The first and last numbers being 0 and 7. No letters or anything else.

this is engine block number.
You need to locate vehicle ID plate over driver or passenger side pillar to know engine TYPE.
Vitz has 2 engines 1000 cc & 1300 cc.1KR or 1SZ

Oh, about that. The engine in my car was changed from 1000 cc to 1300 cc sometime last year by the previous owner. It says 1KR-FE on that passenger side plate but that's 1000 cc. I'm currently trying to get in touch with the owner to see if he knows more.

please share the day time engine bay pic. The block number can not decipher which engine type it is. Intake Manifold may provide some hint to identify engine type.

if it is a scrapyard swap, it is likely a 1SZ which has the exhaust manifold towards radiator.

1NR relatively being new category in asia pacific it may not be landing into scrapyards before 2024. Unless write-off rear collision vehicles are in abundance.

Yes every engine has a shakal or personality. 1nz and 2nz look twins though.
