Can somebody please point me in the right direction. I am having trouble finding detailed info on it. Chotee motee to pata chalee hain magar no details.

yaar pakistan main har pathar kay neechay do mehran hotee hain. But when it comes to engine, lagta hai sab 20+ saal puranay F8B say satisfied hain.

paway not F8B, us pay to sab available hai. I need detailed info in F8C and F8D , both are EFI engine, i believe in 800cc category. F8C was in Daewoo Tico and F8D is the Efi engine of Maruti 800.

What I know is, that the 5-speed manual transmssion which is in Daewoo Matiz / chevy spark mated to a F8C engine, can also be mated to the F8B engine, and I'm going to try that in my mehran sooner or later

I don't know if it is available here, but try bilal ganj and look for chevrolet 'exclusive' parts.. ask them for the transmission.. of course parts would be available here at the respective shops.. but try bilal dunj first and look if they have the parts for the chevrolet exclusive.. I don't know about the chevroley joy, almost the same car.. but it has a 1.0 engine, don't know what engine that is.

O chad yara!!.. I am in karachi... we have SherShah Suri here. Tu Bilal gunja apnay pass rakheen.

BTW , do you that there is also a good posibility that you can fit F10D engine in Mehran as well. F10D is engine of Wagor-R. To I think for engine swapping F10D is better option then F8C or D coz we do have Wagon-Rs on the road..dnt we.

I am not so interested in an engine swap, i'm more interested in the tranny swap.. that 5-speed manual is much better than the 4 speed which comes with mehran, should increase the performance and milage considerably.

And about the engine swap, that would be like jumping straight from 1940s to the year 2009. ECU, wiring harnesses, swap modifications, and other things.. not worth it on a Mehran.

Everytime you do an engine swap. Yeh sab cheezain to karnee parti hain na. if I put in an F8C or D or even F10D, it will be worth it coz It would usher a new era for my old tin foil mehran. Body ki khair hai yaar. But this is the reason i needed technical info on these engines. Magar yahan to koi help kay liye tayyar hi nahi hai.
