New Mehran Efi Mileage

I recently purchased Mehran euro ii , I filled the tank at 257 .8 km odo which was 2500 rupees. Now after 101km odometer at 358.8km I refilled the tank .the total was 829 rupees. Same meter at same pump was used for filling.
the mileage per litre turned out to be 12.54 and cost per km comes to 8.29rs/km.
this is not par to what Suzuki propagates . Any similar experience . The car was totally driven in Rawalpindi mostly from gts depot Peshawar road to Kashmir road Saddar .the second fill was 8.05 litres

I also got some 14km/L dear in first 700 km in city lahore.

i had a chat with suzuki guys because of the mileage earlier but they said after 1st tuning it will improve they have the setting to consume more fuel 1st 1000 km?

After 2000km it would start to give u better milage

Ok. lets see. First tuning is almost due.

This is done deliberately to make the engine run more finer , high fuel mixture is given , they will adjust this to normal setting in your first tuning

i have too recently bought Mehran Euro 2... on full tank it give 14.44 Avrg...the pick is getting better day by day...drive very nice...checked on motorway... engine sound was totally normal on 100....

my carby mehran 6 years old gives me 17km/litre on long route .checked many many times . i usually drive with light foot...so the efi one should deliver some thing better than this.

What about in the city dear? Mileage on high of new efi is 23km/Litre, many confirmed.

23Km/L on highway is very good mileage, that means we can expect 15+ in city easily ?????

I have 2006 mehran, it used to give me 20km/liter to 22km/liter on motorway. I am still using it in Lahore and milage within city is around 17km/l. I drive with steady acceleration and anticipate traffic for minimal breaking within city.

yesterday I had to go to my village. it was a long drive on a highway. initial reading on meter was 45 km. now its 660 Km n i m back home now
round trip was 615 Km long. when I reached home i got the tank fulled again. total fuel cost was 1000+1800+780=3580 Rs.
34.3 liters of fuel was utilized.
Rs per Km= 5.82
Km per liter = 17.9 km
car easily touches 100km/hr. I accelerated till 120km/hr but didnt exceed that. car was stable no change of sound. my average speed on highway was 90kph.
i think its not bad at all. hope mileage will improve in'sha'ALLAH after tuning

I am also getting a low mileage .. my euro-2 is arounf 400 kMs driven. hope average gets better after some more running.

What I am worried about is I hear a whistle type sound from engine bay after driving it for around 5 KMs... the sound goes off after about 1 to 2 minutes.. I would like to know if someone here is having the same problem...
