posted same on another thread ( so that get maximum output)
I am getting a small noise when i revolve the car steering .. its like ' if you put some very small stone on a tin and shake' .. its very light noise but can be hear
I went to Suzuki Workshop (Azeem Motors ISB), 2 or 3 technicians checked, not feel initially ( as expected ) and then observed that noise and agreed its not usual thing. But non of them willing to touch the steering as afraid of opening the airbag.
Fortunately Suzkui representative was also there so he checked thoroughly.. first he didnot feel and then after driving and focus on steering noise, agreed such noise. and as per his wording 'steering rod need some grease at the joint level and since it is VXL, equipped with Air bag, so special care needed with at least 4 working hours and ll cover under warranty
in workshop, I found 4 few Cultus 2017/18 model and I checked the steering and surprise that same noise is coming from other cars as well ( although its volume was not as high as my car steering but noise exist )
out of 4, 3 cars have that noise and 1 ( that look like totally new) dont observe
I asked that issue to car owners and they said, they never observed such noise and mostly they drive car with radio)
so guys what are your observations.. are you getting the such noise
I am little confuse to open the steering rod due to
1. This car is new and in ISB not seems to be no such experience technician exits to open the air bag fitted steering
2. I believe its seems to be the common issue ( based on above experiment)
3. Such noise/fault is not doing any bad thing .. but its some sort of annoying noise
