AFR Nai hey, O2 sensor hi hey aur heated oxygen sensor 2 (rear) hey.

Normal conditions mein operate bhi nai karta

here from manual

The heated oxygen sensor 2 (rear), after three way catalyst, monitors the oxygen level in the exhaust gas.

Even if switching characteristics of the heated oxygen sensor 1 (front) are shifted, the air fuel
ratio is controlled to stoichiometric, by the signal from the heated oxygen sensor 2 (rear).

This sensor is made of ceramic zirconia. The zirconia generates voltage from approximately 1V in
richer conditions to 0V in leaner conditions.

Under normal conditions the heated oxygen sensor 2 (rear) is not
used for engine control operation.

Anyways, I think I will have to put some sensor with those wires :(. I will go to market and search if I get the one you are asking, I mean the front O2 sensor, right?

have to actually see the whole pinout like u show in pics to see what other 3 pins are going and doing...in trouble shoot the sensor is actually seen connected and helps alot ....!!

If U Don't Connect.....CEL Will Show Up I Guess.....This Is Actually 2nd Sensor For Feeding ECU When needed......!!

The front one has different wires I guess..... as you can spot in the last picture of my last post... it has yellow and red wires, so it is different from that.......

All in all, it is a pain in the a$$ I am assuming and I will have to get the right sensor to make the engine work right....... and yes, as @spectra said it is very unlikely to get this one as this one must be there in the exhaust pipe and those are very hard to find bad. 14k spending seems inevitable

I have just checked, Nissan parts website sales multiple 4-wire post catalyc sensors, one is 3 wire one as well, but there are 4 wires one as well... so you are right, we can use that 4 wire sensor, which my engine guy is telling me about..... it only has one extra grey wire in it.....

And Keep In Mind That O2 Sensors Can Go BAD Also......The One In Exhaust Can Be Good As Well As Busted Also.....!!

They Have Limited Life Depending On Fuel Type And Mileage....

I Have N16 Manual...And IN That.....It Have Different Grip And Pinout Than This.....!!

One Is 3 Row And One Have Total Different .....

N16 has many versions as well as QG18 has many versions as well. I have spotted three types of QG18 till now. All were different from one another in a few things.... anyways, i got the manual it is for Almera and it does define the same QG18DE that I have.
