@spectra, yeah he handed me like 2-3 ECUs as well, whichever works. Dad just talked to him and he has assured that he will find it. I have also told Ameer to look for it - he is kinda grateful to me for handing him over the wiring printouts of QG18DE

@ser_gtr Mushtaq says that his dukaan boys unplugged the ECUs and stacked them here and there... So its basically a hit and trial. Part # search would be a lot easier if somehow I knew that to which car this motor originally belonged. Anyway to know ? Right now looking for @spectra's suggested ECU

How stupid it is for a shopkeeper in business to tell this thing. The controllers (ECU's) detached from engine and he doesn't even know which ECU is for which engine. And doing business for years.

Why would he be held accountable, the buyer should be held accountable for making the decision. Why would you buy hassle in the first place? Demand from the seller that you need engine from which the original wiring is not detached. Examine the engine properly, check the wiring, ask gaurantee, count things like sensors, look for vacuum pipes, examine the condition of block, see for dents, see for missed accessories, and then purchase the engine. You cannnot just simply blame the seller. Its always the buyer in my humble opinion.
