Nissan Sunny or Mitsubishi Lancer (automatic) or any automatic sedan under 900k budget?

Which automatic sedan under (9-930k budget)is better in terms of maintenance, parts availability, fuel economy, comfort and overall drive etc

Lancer 2004-08 (1.3/1.6) or
Nissan Sunny 2005-10 (1.3/1.6)
Or Local assembled
Honda Civic (05-06)(Vti Oriel prosmatec)
Corolla (05-07) altis automatic ...??

Lancer - NO (parts/service issues)

Sunny - NO (parts/service issues)

Civic 2005 - Yes

Corolla any model - Yes

Civic or corolla. Corolla is cheaper to maintain but civic is more comfortable and it looks better. I prefer civic.

Using Lancer since almost 12 years and Alhamdulillah never faced any parts issue. It’s a much better option than Civic and Corolla of its generation only if one gets a mint condition one.

I’m a Civic fanboy. But, out of all the options you mentioned, your best bet would be to get anything out of Corolla or Civic provided the condition is pristine. Honestly, both cars of that generation are almost similar for a daily driver.

you are correct. but i have heard horrible stories from mechanics and junkyards about spares of mitsubishi and nissan. even once i saw a Lancer with opened engine and the mechanic saying its with us since 3 weeks now and kabhi kuch nahi milta kabhi kuch which has made this task so lengthy. and its air filter box was broken and it was not available anywhere at that point of time. i have links in junkyards and the shop owner discussed with me that out of full market just one or two shops deal in mitsubishi parts and that too with a price of their Marzi as they know that a car owner have nowhere to go..point is that parts of Mitsubishi and nissan are NOT abundantly available and not cheap like honda, toyota, suzuki. and i am talking w.r.t Karachi market.

All of the four cars can be kept. I have a 1.8 Litre Lancer Station Wagon, for parts i just ordered a bunch of stuff from DXB Mitsubishi, still have a lot of stuff lying around with me because these cars just dont break easy.

all parts are available new or used and Yes they have little dealership network than honda/toyota.
Mitsu/Nissan are reliable cars but mostly mechanics dont understand these cars thats the reason overall sale and dealership network is small in our Beloved country.

if parts and service were not an issue i would have owned a Lancer or a Sunny. seriously loveeeee these cars. rock solid cars, cheap to buy, exceptional quality. what else do one need!
just like Spectra. extra ordinary car but not worthy of buying due to parts and service issues

i have kept 02 lancers from 2015 to date and never face parts issue. only problem is Mechanics' lack of knowledge on Mitsu technology.
You have to be self sufficient on technicalities if you own a Mitsu car/4x4

ask ur mechanic that you are buying a Lancer or even a Pajero. he wont suggest you.

Where one can find parts and stuff of Lancer and Sunny ??

i am in Rawalpindi. new parts are available at Imran autos saddar Majid Autos.
Kabli engine and other parts at Mushtaq autos Mitthu Khan ahata.

Kabli Body parts are available near PSO pump Chah Sultan.

in big cities like Karachi & Lahore have no issue for parts.
