Just relax, plan and execute. Find good mechanic first then go ahead. But one job you will only get done by Toyota 3S, and this is transmission oil replacement for CVT transmission. Buy oil from Toyota dealership and get it replaced from them. ITs Toyota CVT TC oil.

If you can afford, You may get these jobs done at Toyota 3S. But there service charges are high.

For parts, any of our friends on the forum can guide you for original Toyota parts purchase. As from Toyota dealer, you will get them at a very higher price.

For balancing of all four wheels, Toyota charges Rs. 1200.
For Alignment, Toyota charges Rs. 1200.

I get my service done from Toyota Airport motors.

my car engine specifications suggest 0w-20. its the highest compression engine in pk. even more than civic 1.5 turbo.

i started off with pouring 5w-20 than 10-40 and now 5w-50 all fully synthetic API SN oils.

toyota taglon 5w-50 API SN fully synthetic suits best. 1KR FE or 2 SZ FE it will work.

5W50 not OK for 1kr-fe. So guys avoid using it.

Maximum viscosity you go for is 5W40 fully synthetic SN Grade.

Do not use 10W40. Best is 5W30. For all round weather.

Dear Sir,
I visited mechanic for the following.
1. Engine oil chnaged. Bought Toyota oil Japan 5W30. 3800/-
2. Oil filter.toyota Genuine. 700/-
3. Air filter 350/-
4. Toyota Coolant 2400/- 3.75L (he said topon more coolant tomorrow morning if needed)
5. Cabin Filter 400/- Leppon.

Transmission Oil - mechanic checked the oil and it was OK i personallu saw the oil it was bright red. Mechanic says no need to change for next 6 months In sha Allah.

Good. The oil you changed is of 10W30 viscosity. Not 5W30. No issues it’s OK.

Now you are to use HOBC petrol only filled from Total Petrol Pump. I am not sure about Karachi, but find out a reputed Total Petrol Pump and only 100% HOBC is to be filled always.

How is the condition of your tires? I mean the tread condition? Go to a reputed wheel alignment and wheel balancing workshop and get your tires inspected.

If tires are OK, get wheel balancing and wheel alignment done.

Also, tell me the size of your tires currently installed. Read the tire side wall to check.

Drive the car for about 500 KM and also tell me how the drive feels now. Note the acceleration; is it very good or just OK or not Good. If confused, ask you friend to drive the car who has Vitz experience to judge the acceleration.

I hope you have not allowed your mechanic to play with the throttle body?

Send me your car chassis number and I will give you details of your car. Also I will give you part number with photo of PCV valve installed in your car so you can purchase it from Toyota 3S. It’s a cheap part.
