Patrolling vans never stop you with tints unless you do something very serious.. yeah there are several checkposts in ISB but main issue is main kashmir highway checkpost. Kabhi na kabhi to banda ruk he jata hay. har baari totkay nahe chaltay..

Even NYPD dont use NYPD on plate. I dont know why people use these New York, TX, Caifornia plates? Any one here will please enlighten us.... Amreeka murdabad but want to have it on our car.. "Kia yeh Khula tazad nahi".. :D

Doctor's opinion was applicable some years before. Now they tear that opinion right in front of your eyes..
Only way out is a proper permit. or if you have some high up in police dpt. otherwise no way out nowadays.. I too got permit after a lot of hassle. But nowadays. getting a permit isn't that much easy as it was used to be some years before.

these aren't the traffic police guys, so either he will be taken to police station or will have to pay an unofficial fine and matter dissolves

NYPD uses Chevy Volts?? What other cars do they have in their fleet?

They have famous Impalas, crown Victoria's, chargers, Prius, nissan altimas, chevy silverado, ford focus and so on.

Volt, prius, altima are for petrolling purpose only in Manhattan to cut down on emissions within city.

This is margalla station police...rascals to be honest ...
they will just check your registration book, tint permit etc ..wont impound your car unless you dont have any valid identity and moreover you misbehave ...
they always have a problem with license plates ...you should have you license plates visible rest you can place anything you want

for tint ...you still can opt for the medical issue, for that there are i suppose right now only 2 doctors, whose tint prescription is legit ..........or get tint letter from DC Islamabad .............or get tint permit from Interior Ministry (it would be valid all over the country and is the most legit, and it wont ever be removed :P)

rest you can tint 25% ...iv had on all my cars, and to this day no one even stopped me except for traffic police once ..that too he asked me about the number plate, i have written 2 digits ..he asked me to add 0 before ..mean while he caught tints, he remembered i was on phone call and wasnt wearing seat belts ...
