Dear Nomi sb and Aamir Sb, thanks for comments. Yes, we enjoyed. I did not take my Unimog. We actually took a second class off-roader. LandCruiser Prado. It is around 80-90 km on tarmac and around 30 km on off-road type access.
The road is not a fast road, and therefore takes longer than on good highways, like the GT Road.

Sorry Bro i commented on pics you posted on page #3. I wanted to say that Land Rovers's decoration for Nikkah looked great. Also by looking at amazing pics of you and yr team offroading in & out of various unheard valleys of the region, I had to say you are a true offroader.

My Mog is currently undergoing modifications.
I have installed beautiful rear end lights and am currently installing a bracket for spare wheel. Hope it comes out good.
The power steering is still on the wish list.

The Double cab or Doka conversion is interesting, as it gives ample space for tours !
The flat strip at the bottom of the doors, running from front to rear is basically only cosmetic, but the foot step, seen here and also in the last photos is not only cosmetic, it help some people climb up !

I am so proud of the rear end treatment ! The rear bumper affords climbing space, a space to (later) mount the spare wheel, and (later still) the fuel can, and also a wonderful milieu for the rear lights.

Sir, please appreciate the hormony & symmetry of the dissymmetry of the white reverse light and the larger brake light !, and the cover for the light, that is a design detail, and a protection for the lights.

sir rear lights looks cool and i need a set for DeeMog :).... i have noticed your Mog running on 12V?.... original self and generator?
tyres looks cool too and dont think you need any replacement.... i would suggest for same vampire tread pattren but wider once....
power steering is on TEAM UNIMOG wish list and hope this wish come true.... Insha Allah....

horn out side the hood seems not OK and does not match the magistic looks of THE GREAT MOG :)....

Will reposition the horn, and probably will add another set of spot lights(+/-) . The tyres are a bit of down-side in my opinion. I suppose similar larger tyres may be OK.
The MOG is not in its original engine, so the 12 V is original self-starter and generator for the engine. You could change over any engine and generator and electric system from 12 to 24 and vice versa. Cost is not very high either. Only need a good electrician.
The lights are easily available, and a set will cost around Rs. 2000/= or nearby (+/-500).
Sir, I am looking for a relatively cheap Electric Winch with slow speed and a sturdy motor ! Could someone guide?

I test drove this new addition to Irshad Miskeen's collection of vehicles.
Feels superb. I suppose much better than my Land Cruiser, and at par with the Mog, in Off-Road driving.
Road manners need a bit of improvement, but could do as it is.
Will use it shortly in one of the tours.
