Agreed, Honda city A/T of my friend 2006 model with 460k odo is still running pretty well on zic x7. No starting issue, no oil leakage. He doesn't actually remember from when he is using zic.

i switched from shell 20/50 to shell 10/40 after running 20/50 for approx 17,18 years i guess. it runs really smooth now thn before. also engine sound is reduced. And solved starting issue at cold start in winters. Never ever gona try 20/50 again in any of car, after this experience, tbh.

Went to Metro couple of days back looking for 15W-40 engine oil,

Found Guard brand which I see more often now, its cheap only 1900Rs. for 4L and I guess its not synthetic. Anyone have experience with this brand? is it in class of Shell / ZIC?

ZIC x5000 is 2800Rs. (Edit: this one is for diesel)

Sir caltex delo gold 15w40 and shell Rx4 15w40 are better option for diesel engine.
They are around 550-600/L

i use Guard oils in my cars+bike. Metro per original mil jata hai. you can see newest Grandes, Civics to 80's era cars linedup for oil change at Guard's facility. oil is ok and good but my experience says do not prolong its interval for over 3200-3300kms.

Thanks for reply. I own a gasoline engine vehicle, took photo of wrong ZIC oil. For gasoline its in red bottle and price is similar.

Thanks for the info. Is it synthetic? I didn't find it mentioned on bottle. Yes, I've been mostly changing oil between 3 to 4 thousand KMs, in Pajero Mini service manual, it says for turbo engine change should be due on every 5k KMs.

Kendall is a genuine product until now. Shifted from LM n Started Using its 0w20 in vitz 2015/19 Reg, 26000kms--, it showed results on Avg and Engine feels absolutely light n Sound i blv got smoother after 3-4 oil changes.. .
