Oil Burning Problem in Vitz 2013 1.0

Aoa all Pakwheelers!! I hope you all are fine
I have Vitz 2013 1.0 F package Current mileage is 97000 thousand and this is authentic i have verified auction sheet as well but problem is whenever pour oil in it after 1500 km it burns about 1.2 liter of oil This problem was started when my meter reading was around 80,000 i used to check oil after every 2 weeks and pour init , but now i am fed up with all this situation i am using Total(10W 40) from the day 1 i purchased car Anyone who can help me to come out of this trouble !!!

Maybe it is due to the weak piston rings. Also check your spark plugs. Check for any carbon deposits or oil presence on the tips of your spark plugs. Are you observing any smoke from the silencer?

It is too much.. 400 to 500ml is ok after 5k travel

which city are you located?

first check if your pcv valve is clogged or not?

then have your engine compression tested or a full leak down test.

a boreoscope through the spark plug hole will show you condition of piston head and walls

W.S. May be the oil which you are using is not genuine.

Bro try ZIC 10w-40 or Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30 (its more preferred). These both are fully synthetic and meet latest API SN / SN Plus, and / or ILSAC GF-5 criteria, however, just ensure that the oil is 100% genuine and original. If oil is fake, then nothing can stop engine oil consumption and other harms to engine.

For ZIC, you can directly order from zicoil.pk or buy / change oil from their authorised service centres. Their details are available on the website.

And same is true for Total! You can buy / change oil from their company operated and maintained Total stations and Their details are also available on official Total Parco website.

If it doesn't help, then it may mean engine has gone weak and it may require overhaul / rebuild. Also check for engine compression.

Don't shift to thicker oil at all......best is to swap the engine..rather than overhauling

its the cheapest oil which uve used evapurates buy any gud 5w 30 oil vitz loves that and check ur pcv valve if its working there is no way vitz engine gives up that early if ur not flooding it with cheap fake oil

if the engine code in your vehicle is 1KR-FE, switch engine oil grade to 0W-30 available from AISIN, Caltex Havoline & Shell

1KR-FE is notorious for oil consumption if 0W-30 is not used, resulting in caramel coating over engine moving parts and kaput engine

yes for high milage tampered odometers VITZ with 1KR-FE engine 20W-50 before rebuild

This is the usual mentality, people don't understand context, they have only one way of seeing things in isolation. Your suggestion to use 20W50 for a worn out engine before rebuild for a brief while is perfectly sensible.

Do not misguide people by passing on the stupid stuff learnt from mechanic ustaads. The correct act is to put the oil grade that is recommended by user manual. And if engine is reducing oil then pouring thicker oil is not solution, solution is to rectify the root cause of problem that is present inside engine itself.
