Driving 660 WagonR with 95k on the odo.
When it was imported it was barely 4K driven. Used 5W-20 then shifted to 0W-20 around 30k mark since then using the same viscosity till date. And every time I go to mechanics they just give me their insane logics of pouring 10W 40 or 5W-40 when asked they just said yeh hybrids k liye Hota hai Patla oil or some just say choti Gari hai. When I ask them to explain their logic they become confused and angry themself and say apki apni marzi hai.
Car sees highways once in a while and I never cared about speeds on it Rev up all the time on motorways at 110-120 rpms shooting at 4-5k. Engine is still perfect.
Started with 6k oil intervals with zic and havoline which increased to 7k later and now after pouring amsoil 0W-20 I have increased it to 10k as per Suzuki Japan recommendations. Amsoil recommends 19k km for severe conditions but due to small sump I,ll keep it short.
Car runs excellent no oil decrease till date I mostly drives on high revs within isb as well and idle a lot even for 2 hours with AC on and everything seems just fine.
