Oil suggestion?

Hello there,

I have Cultus VXRi 2008 (EFI) on both petrol and cng. Most of time its used over CNG and the running is very much within the city.

I would like to ask which oil should I changed to which will work better in hot summer. (i also use ac)

Is diesel engine oil better for this summer?

bro, if your car has completed 90k then go for shell helix HX3 20w50 red gallon... best for summers...

If your engine condition is good means if its not reducing oil then use some good multigrade 10W40 API SG Oil.

You can use SGO Premium...

It won't cause any issues for my car in this hot summer right? Which is better for performance 10W40 or 20W50? Also, which is better for summer? Also, what if the car is exerting out white smoke?

Why don't you obtain suggestion from your regular mechanic. Get advises from other mechanics too....

20w50 is a bit heavy oil for your car. But our mechanics love to use this grade oil in all the car's according to them
"haiilll jitna mota ho utna acha ha"
they are totally wrong. If the engine is in good condition and not reducing oil then nothing is wrong with 10w40 oil they will perform good than 20w50 in your econobox...

As for cultus API SG is recommended with viscosity 10w40. If you want to try something other than 10w40 then you can use 15w40 API SJ by zic.

About caltex havoline 10w40 API SJ would also b good if you find the orignal product.

If the car is 8 years old then you have to go with the thicker oil. Thin oils r good for new or little old cars.

for cultus tappet, you need thinner oil. if seals are wore. get them fixed instead of thicker oil
