Well that quite q good fuel economy you're getting mashalah... I haven't done my calculations with economy yet but I feel it's going somewhere from 9 to 10 in city with AC ON all the time... I'm sure it will improve inshalah as it's just a very new engine covering some 200 kms...

200Km is too little to know the actual consumption......I agree that you will get better figures after driving around 1000Kms

For body kits, yes that's a great suggestion... I certainly would be trying this inshalah... Could you please share the expenses you had for body kit installations?

It costed me somewhere around Rs. 28K with paint-job from Honda Classic. It is worth spending this much to improve the looks of the car....you can see how mine looks like after bodykit and alloys....

Giving the due major weight to immobiliser, the whole civic actually did the trick on me; undeniably
Bro I got the tires for 8500/tire size: 205/65R 15
Tire size 205/60R15 was for rs. 8250 per tire
Same was the price for 195/65R15
I also searched for Michelin Energy Saver which was for 9000 per piece with size 205/60R15
After giving my Eurostars I had to pay additional Rs. 18000 (charges inclusive of fitting and balancing)

CONGRATS!!! car is looking absolutely gorgeous in this color and i must say you made the right decision about changing the crappy eurostars with yokohama and also the size is perfect for 8th gen. civic. Now please post some more pictures of your car with the new tires on it. Btw i also got 205/65R15 tires for my new ride but the tires are Sumitomo HTRs and man they perform very nice, i mean at speeds of 100-120km/hr you would feel as if you're driving b/w 30-50km/hr

I will recommend you get a 2011 model....if you can manage it now....2012 may come with some downgrades (e.g. plastic interior is a big disappointment) that may prove to be a deal-breaker....in any case if you have got 2011 at that time....you will have the option either to upgrade or keep your 8th-gen.....but in case you decide to get an 8th-gen in 2012....you will not get a new one then...

Any way this is just my opinion....you may have different plans...

yeah that's right.... The upcoming civic is downgraded from this 8th gen in many aspects... it can be googled.. for instance one link may be checked as below:

Use the same size and dont ruine the door interior with too large speakers....I leave the brand/model suggestion to Audio Geeks

yeah thats a good advise... ruining the door by installing bigger speakers will probably be the last thing i will do
I am a kinda person who would want to use original speakers if i cant find a very capable person to install speakers and play with wiring

Im likely to go for body kits inshalah after like a month as i have to wait for my next salary for that
I also checked the price of this kit from Saddar Rawalpindi and shopkeeper was offering it for Rs. 18000 (unpainted)... tell me are there any recommended makes/ brands for body kits or something? and what should its fair price tag be?

Eurostars literally suck big time... and they sound like cow while driving.. its a big relief to change them... Yoko are serving me great alhamdulilah... havent used Sumitomo But im sure from your words that they are good...
