Got the first inspection done today from Raiwind dealership Lahore. Nothing special.

Friend leased this VXR. We took delivery today. No own paid. I drove alto for 1st time. I drive Steermatic. Few things observed. Seats are very soft along with suspension. The torque is pretty good and ac was at par with my car. Engine is little noisy but not as noisy as 3 cylinder vitz. Overall very nice car for city drive.

I absolutely adore the black interior if vxr. Dont really like the beige trims of vxl. First oil change of 0w20 decreases engine noise. Pak suzuki illitrate assembly lines pouring in 10w40 engine oil which is really bad for this engine.

Hmm 1st oil change at 5k km is this ok? They also offered us extended warranty for 12k for one year with 3 free oil change with oil and filter.

Beige and black combination looks fantastic. But again it is personal choice.

When it was 8k it was worth it at 12k im not sure. They offer free oil as 10w40 although you can pay difference for 0w20.

First oil change preferably at 3000 or 3500km if you can do it sooner that would be even better as 0w20 is what this engine needs.

Also to tell them to balance and align the car at 1000km service its FOC and also clean the plugs.

Yes my VXR also does that on 80km/h. minor shake feel hota hai but when u cross 85 to 90km/h then its smooth again.... Phir 120km/h ya above pe ja k to dolna shuru hojaati hai. so its not safe to drive VXR above 110km/h in my opinion.
Maybe larger tyres can fix this issue

Bro Suzuki dealers get all their info and TO Do list from Suzuki directly. You are absolutely right that 0W20 is superior and same is suggested for Japanese Alto. But there must be a reason why they recommend 10W40 for Local made Alto. Probably it has something to do with the less HP that PKDM's R06 produces as compared to JDM as it has high HP setting.

the reason could be anything but All Im trying to say is that the engineers who developed this engine would know better than us.

Kindly get your wheels balanced from your dealer & this vibration will be gone, I had the same issue in my VXL AGS which vanished after proper wheel balancing from my Suzuki dealer.

Aoa...is there a trunk seperator (or whatever you may call it) like in swift (which covers the trunk to separate it from rest of the cabin)....available in aftermarket shops....cause that is missing in this alto ???

Secondly what about availability of hand supports on the roof (except driver side)???

thirdly are aftermatket headrests installable in the rear seat ????

Engine in local alto is same as jdm. PS have mistakenly put the 10w-40 sticker in engine bay. I have confirmed this from Suzuki raiwind motors. 0w-20 should be put in pkdm alto as well. Also that the spec sheet has wrong figure for HP. The pkdm alto has same horsepower as jdm counter part

Hello sharjeel.

Its termed as parcel tray. No buddy this car does not support parcel tray. Even the jdm variant does not have it not it has any notches to hold one if you install one yourself.

Hand grips are must have sadly theres only one at passenger side. I dont know what was suzuki thinking. Where should i hang my ironed clothes? Passenger side? Lol one can buy them from aliexpress or from used car parts market. From suzuki it might cost 484949 million dollars.

As far as i remember this car does not support head rest. Even the jdm variants dont have head rests sadly.

No way mate. Ive gone through manual and they recommended 10w 40 there as well
