Maintenance Update:
1) Heater pipes replaced
After cutting part of them for the 3rd time, decided to get heater pipes replaced as old ones we starting to leak again. I replaced original spring clips with jubilee clips on firewall side about a year ago, which were making cuts in pipes over time.
Rather looking for straight pipe, I searched for other car brands one which had similar two bends in it. I found one design which was good for replacing both.
Old and new one's condition,
The good thing, when I searched for simple straight pipe, spring clips were pretty loose on them, but these pipes for some Suzuki model were of same spec, spring clips were perfect fit. After replacing I checked for leaks, none so far. Both pipes costed 350Rs. only.
New pipes fixed with original spring clips,
2) Sway bar link replacement:
There was prominent tak-tak clunky noise on bumps, and it got pretty annoying. To test, one can simply rock the car side-to-side, and there will be only one prominent sound, metal on metal like hammering sound. I didn't knew where it was coming from, so I took it to suspension workshop. Mech took a look, and told me it's the linkers.
Old and new,
These are some Toyota model, costed 2,000Rs.
Now there's no sound when going over bumps or driving on rough roads of Karachi
