well it mite be bcuz ur engine is small to push it further ... it need more power but due to engine is small and differential is big so it mite not be matching with eachother that y its not responding

ohh.. If ever I will change the engine, i would like a diesel to be fitted to it. What do you think is the most compatible engine that would fit with the least alteration to the mounts. Also if possible, can you tell what exact model that should be fitted and if possible a turbo one.

no thanks bro .. well i think that 1N engine mite fit im not sure myself bcuz the engine bay is too small that y i replaced it with 1100cc one .. bcuz i dont like alternation or jugar stuffs it always mess things up ... regards

DEAR ALI, i got my gasket changed plus clutch and pressure plate work done by lathemachine and as i told u radiator was already changed japanese one i guess it is of suzuki kei with direct fan (multiple blades) but problem persists car heats up with ac on petrol as well as gas .any idea what should be done now. i am in love with my mini and i dont want to dispose it thanx

Hi All,

Does anyone know if I can fit the differential from the junior in the 98+ mini. I am running the 1100cc engine in it now and wont mind having a bit better gearing...

Not sure... came with my car.. pretty sure they changed it since the meter said 17000 kms when i bought it and i am sure it had far more than that...

Hello from Ireland guys,

My Girlfriend owns a Mini Pajero 660cc Turbo Auto and while I think it is a really good little jeep it is really bad on Motorways and stuff. It would be great as a town car but we live in the country and it's a nightmare for long driving! We only get around 20mpg! (15 litres per 100km, or 6.6km per litre) Really not economical at all! I see on here that a lot of you have changed the 660cc to the 1100cc from the Junior, well if I was to just change the back and front Differentials would that help bring the revs down a bit, and make it better for the long distance driving?

There are only about 10 Mini Pajeros in Ireland but loads of Juniors around. So parts are hard to get and it's taken me 2 years to find tyres for it cause you can't get 175/80 R15's in Ireland, or Europe! But now I'm gona try put FTO 16inch alloys on with 215/70 R16's. I hope they fit ok will minimal rubbing!

One more question: What is the offset of the original Mini Pajero alloys?

I want to convert my 660cc Mini Pajero Engine to 1100cc Pajero Junior Engine,

Main Concenrs,

Mini Pajero (NON TURBO) MAX SPEED = 60 Km/hr on AC 60+ on without AC

Though I do not push alot i usually change gears at 3500 - 4000 RPMs,

ALI is not sure with MAX SPEED of 1100CC

I wana know MAX SPEED on Petrol and CNG ( I am not asking Speed on Speedo meter asking for max you can acheive

ali bhai since u have swapped differentials of your mini for junior diffentials

plz let me know a few following things

a. ratios of both differtial gears
b. did u change only ring,pinion,both or whole assembly inside housing
c. after the engine swap did you retain the 5 speed MT & 4x4 transfer case of mini or swapped any

Ali yar your mechanic has made some settings to my mini, he was really confused and saying that my engine is 1100cc : D . he compared the engine number with book and finally was staisfied that it was 660cc.

I am going to check tom. morning the speed and pick let you know.

alizzz, hello again. I need your expert advise, my mini 660cc non-turbo is consuming gas so much. I have noticed that the exhaust smoke is a little black and smells like there is so much unburned gas. I would like to know if there is a way that we can adjust the air to fuel mix, i think that there is too much fuel in the mix. I want to adjust the air mixture.

How much gas it is consuming, I got Non turbo 96 as well, GAS consumption is really bad, i moved to petrol and comparatively on AC I feel no difference on consumption : )

in regards to black smoke im not sure what can be the issue, mi8 be work required on head.
