Congratulations. A very clean Exceed. Remember one thing: it is not an investment as investment yields 'return' while this hobby only costs without monetary return. However return in form of joy is immense.

My advice will be to go slow. Make a bond with her and she will tell you her inner secrets one by one. Try to drive her under 3000 rpm and she will take you anywhere.

Dear PWers, I need guidance. My inter cooler 2.8tdi is reducing engine oil. Yesterday I travelled around 1000 Kms and speed was 100 avg. vehicle was never got hot. However, after reaching destination, oil was low. In fact half of the oil was eaten up by it. Please guide

One thousand kilometres in one day? That's amazing!

As far as I know, Pajero reduces oil only because of turbo. There must be play in the turbo or the seals must be worn out. Turbo rebuild kits are available abroad, but I haven't seen any locally. I think you should consider replacing the turbo. Make sure you get a working turbo preferably from a nose cut.

How do you know half the oil was consumed? If the level is exactly between top and low, it takes hardly a litre of oil in 4D56 to top up. Should be similar in 4M40.

Thanks for your input. I also think it's due to turbo as engine smoke is pretty normal. I can find some blackish holdings on turbo connections. Seems our meet up is necessarily very soon now

Its definitely trubo and my suggestion get a tf035 turbo cartridge and use ur original housing i hv spent alot of money on turbos getting chinese is better than kabli and army is using all chinese turbos in there vehicles. Turbo repair kits dont work so stay away
Also install boost gauge so u should know what ur turbo is doing.
What was ur average speed in that 1000km sprint
Rest if u want more torque and power get a straight piping and see ur vehicle fly
