I did in an earlier thread, didn't I? The fuel gauge is fine, checked after putting the fuel tank down, it's the card (white card at the back of the speed meter) that is faulty. Please check my earlier thread for pictures.
Unfortunately, both my project manager and the mechanic know me well. They will not cut any corners as this vehicle is not for sale in the very near future, hopefully, so everything we are doing is to make our lives at ease for at least 2.5-3 years if not more.
Pockets are now near empty, so chances are that we have to compromise on a few things pertaining to the cosmetics of the vehicle, which I'm not too concerned at this point as my main aim is to have a trouble free vehicle for myself and the family. As long as it's mechanically and electrically ok, I'm happy. However, children are just too excited to have their first BIG GAREE, which is a pressure that I have to somehow handle. Since I've got a 2015 Vezel as well for my wife, so I know whatever I would do with the cosmetics of the Pajero, it won't come close to that.
