Sorry for the late participation. I have owed three Pajeros, a 70 series LC and a Hyundai Terracan swapped with Toyota 5VZ in the last six years. I have always used all of the above as a daily driver since I own one car at a time, These old rigs need continuous monitoring by the owner and immediate consultation from a good mechanic once a problem is detected. I have been going to Osama for the last three years and his services give me confidence to buy old SUVs and keep them running trouble free. I have also identified a very good electrician who is very good at diagnosis and repair at the same time being very honest and trustworthy. It is my personal opinion that these rigs run better if used daily or as frequently as possible. My excuse for running them daily is simple that I can afford one car at a time. For the last six years ever since I bought my first SUV, I have owned just one sedan (A Honda Accord CM5, no doubt the best money can buy) but I have lost the urge to drive sedans now. Hope this helps. If you need any assistance, I would be more than happy. Good luck!
