i sure agree that CNG is a big factor here...and then again Suzuki is the name so people will definitly go for it...considering cheap repairs and readily avail parts..all mind set
in my personal opinion...id go for 05+ vitz over this...cant say much but 1 things for sure,i dont think its drive is gona be comparable to vitz..vitz feels like a proper car with care to details...since its suzuki so i aint xpectin details
moreover..even for 1.3l hatch...10 is bit expensive..
still fingers crossed...although a big step from suzuki ...

y not going for some civic in 10k ...that will be old but way beter than this considering luxury

to me interior is not that much impressive if i compare it to swift in japan..cuz i have been around imported 1 and that car was batter...but still its not on road ...cant say anything

we are not expecting very good ...but they can give good quality who knows

and up to the market of vitz...bro in pakistan half market is set by dealers...and half by customers who will always look forward for low range car even it dose not have any security feature like Air bags is 1 concern

I visited the Pak Suzuki showroom in Islamabad today. Swift appeared to be a downright disappointment. Its a disaster in waiting after Liana. The interior of the car sucks big time - gaudy plastics, cheap chromes, creaking seats. I felt like yelling a murder at the dashboard and a pathetic stereo. What pissed all the more that there is almost no leg room between the front and rear seats. The boot is also cramped for space. The overall impression is poor. The engine bay is full and no space is allowed even for minor repairs/tunnings. Imagine it has a DOHC engine and I shudder if the block is still that of Liana. My advice to the potential customers is to take the car with bag full of salt not just a pinch.

The price positioning is also bad at Rs.1.0M. I don't think, Swift is going to make any dent in the imported cars market in Pakistan especially Vitz. Pak Suzuki you got it wrong again.

I now believe more in my Vitz 2006 and relish the quality of its interior and exterior. Apart from the CVT transmission, great avionics, Vtec engine and almost soundproof cabin, what I love the most is the driving seat adjustable elevation. Beat that Pak Suzuki.

i dont think its gonna be hot favourite with higher middle class...could be middle class.....the higher middle mostly stick with imports or would rather opt for prev civic over the swift..and well they hate the tag SUZUKI ...for them its more about name

well this times the story is a lil different dis thing looks unmistakbly nice and guda guda. even if u compare the looks to the new Vitz. this car looks better. probably many wud atleast give it a try. but the already disapointed SUzuki users might keep distance.

Auto manufacturers in Pakistan are Idiots. Pak Suzuki has missed the trick yet again (like all the others). They should have priced it around the 950k range and that would have given Vitz and City a run for their money. A person who pays 1.0 million expects a Sedan with a considerable boot as well. Pak Suzuki could have negated that thinking with the pricing. Instead now at 1.0 million and with no CNG, I don't see Swift making in roads in the market. At 1.0 million, why Swift and why not a Vitz or a used Civic ? It might turn out to be good car with some good features, but at 1.0 million it is a disappointment (at least for me)

whats even more sad is they still have not made alto and mehran efi in 2010. they are really stupid, why don't they realize that CNG is about to end in the country in a few years and carby cars have very poor petrol mileage. Their polices are only focused towards serving the upper class better. making the middle class suffer more.

i dont think the cars assembled by PS and given to ppl would have bridgestones on them unless there is anyone making bridgestones tyres in pakistan. Since all the vehicles assembled in pakistan are required to have pakistani made tyres on them namely General tyres. unless the rule has been changed.

@chinyoti....no doubt keeping aside the price.....they pulled out an awsome thing which was kind of unexpected from suzuki ..overall its seems very nice and soon cultus and few other will be phasing out and this new thing will become common...change is always welcomed ...it will be pleasure to see it

^ lol if only my dad wud say yeh le beta 10 lack jo lena hai lele. or if only i was self sufficient i wud definetly have given it a try. having a baleno i noe the fault in Liana is only misfiring dats coz of CNG. Lianas are also a okay on petrol. nd for me i belive efi cars jst dont work on cng. gari kam chalalo magr petrol pe.

so em okay wid the engine and all other then that sunna tha Liana had tranny issue this car has a short shift. (i gues that means changed tranny) i luve dis cars shape nd i wont mind saying it dat its my crush. if i get a chance this wud be my first preference.

altho my 8 years old Vitz is still better thn many 2 years old cultuses but SWIFT i jst lub it.
