i took a good look at the swift today, and i have to admit that the people at suzuki have really missed the mark this time. the driving position is very good (as good as the vitz and city) the view out of the cabin is very good and i have to admit i loved the view INSIDE the cabin as well untill i started looking for the things i hope i'll never need, like airbags, seatbelt pretensioners etc.
in the back i was surprised to find that i had more headroom in this than i did in the new civic, but there was no room for my legs. don't forget that i had set the front seat to my settings and i'm only 5 foot 9 and even then there was no room in the rear!!
yes the swift is probably the best new hatch available in PK by far, but that isn't saying much. I wish the customers meant more to the local car mafia,.. maybe then we'd have more safety features. infact if suzuki offered 2 models they might have been on to a winner. one as it is, base model (like the are offering in PK) for 10 lacks, and one with all/some safety features for 11lacks. i know i'd buy one straight away as i really liek the new swift.
too bad my solitary dreams/rants of everyone in PK enjoying safe motoring falls onto deaf ears...
