Buy ELM 327 OBD2 v2.1 or v1.5 Wifi or bluetooth adapter. Do not buy any previous version. That won't work with Suzuki cars. Use SZ viewer app on your Android phone. Other apps do not work.

Look for Vgate ELM327 v2.1 adapters on Aliexpress. They work flawlessly on new and old suzuki cars that support OBD2 protocol. I even scanned my old cultus with that.

Dear Moazzam Shafique, my Pak made Suzuki WagonR 2017 fetches 16.2 km/L in Karachi within city and i use A/c most of time, and the km/L figure is correct

The Wagon R is already a hot selling model of Pak Suzuki sold in large numbers.

A couple of days back I took my new Wagon R for servicing at the 3S dealer and was astonished to know that the demand is so high that some people have paid an “own” amount as high as Rs.180000/-

It seems to take advantage of the situation, to create more demand & justify a price increase Pak Suzuki suspended the booking of Wagon R VXL for the whole month of February 2018 resuming it today 1st March with a price increase of Rs. 50K form RS.1114000/- to Rs. 1164000/-

It seems there is a minor addition of alloy wheels & a chrome plated strip on the rear hatch back.

WoW! 50,000 rupees price increase for just replacing steel rims with alloy rims and that stupid chrome strip? In the countries of sensible people car prices are always going down but here in the crowd of sheep they are always going uphill because the herding corporations like Sanduki knows that sheep will do Baan Baan for two days and then they will follow the herd.

There is nothing wrong with the people, its their need and better buy than 660c JDM. This is our institutions' responsibility to take measures so that a healthy competition can take place. Almost every car in Pakistan is highly priced, there are two reasons for this, one, cars only assembled here not manufactured so more duty and carriage charges apply on them, second, there are only three companies and don't know why they don't want to compete with each other. Where there is lone seller in specific category he will decide the highest possible price and people will still buy their products. People are not DUMB

I highly disagree. People are mightly DUMB.
And most car parts are imported from Indonesia or Thailand these days and their exchange rate is not affected with dollar up-swing.
It's the greed playing its role.

nope. not a chance. people change rims all the time. so rims won't affect resale.

Competition plays the role there not the people mindset. If Mehran only car available as the option then everyone will buy Mehran for any price (if they can afford). Competition always ensures value for money.

My odo reading of wagon r vxl is near 45,000km. Car is almost 2.5 years old. Mostly driven inside city, ISB/RWP and other times on GT road.

At 20,000km:
I changed the (rear) wheel bearing at 20,000 km around a year ago

now at 40,000km + the same problem has arise ...

I change the engine oil, spark plug, air filter, gear oil etc. at every 5000km from suzuki geniue dealer Azim Motor Islamabad

my questions:
1 what should I do to avoid wheel bearing issue in future ?

2 iam planning to switch to "liqui molly" synthetic or fully synthetic engine oil because of its supreme quality, although i know its a bit expensive but I plan to keep car with me and dont want to degrade its quality ? please suggest me ?

3 my rear wheels seem to be a bit diagonal (at some angle) ... i mean to say they are not exactly align or straight ... should I go for new tyres or may be my RIM has got some issue?

4 on crossing speed breakers my car gives a slight noise which I think comes from shocks/suspension ... it didnt not come before ? what does this indicate ?

5 At 40k i changed the rear break pads of my car because of screeching noise coming when i apply brakes ... initially the noise disappeared for some time ... but again at 40.5k the noise started coming again, what should I do ? buy genuine break pads again ?

ps: dont trust Azim motors any good or BEST mechanic or car service that can do engine oil change, car service etc. in Isb/RWP area with HONESTY and DEDICATION without misleading ?

Regarding your above point, i am also facing the same issue at 20000 km and visited suzuki cantt, the mechanic told me that its a factory fault and a bush in the steering assembly needs to be changed under warranty.
i am planning to visit them tomorrow for this warranty claim.

i dont trust at Suzuki dealership ...

e.g. i changed the break pads at 40k service ... initially the screeching sound (sound comes when I apply brakes) disappeared for some time but after some time 40.5k the same screeching noise started coming again ....
