Air filter fitting in pak wagonR is so tricky or pathetic, filter box shape is not as correct fit with airfilter, so i suggest to use bit silicon rubber to seal engine side cover with filter for correctly fit, otherwise its sucks dirt which is very harmful for engine & throtle body.

Hi Guys, Need some suggestions.

I have Suzuki Wagonr VXL 2018 model which is causing some noise when i start. in first and second gear it is causing some friction noise like two parts are scratching each other or like some belt is causing noise when it scratches something. But when car goes heat up or after some time noise becomes slow or you can say disappears. Or maybe the car got speed and noise doesn't seemed to be clear but my car was silent before now it makes noise while driving.
I checked the belt and it is fine but someone said that the water body is causing this noise.

So anyone has experienced this?

What is mileage of your car? 10W40 is too thick, if not 0w20, then at least you should use 5w30. My brother switched to 0w20 in his WR and very happy with performance and fuel average.

I got the whole coolant changed. But now the coolant is reducing, in two months its near to low level now. Before 1 year its was not reduced at all. What could be the issue?

It's highly possible that substandard coolant was used

Caliper needs servicing most probably.

Top it again with same coolant and it should not reduce now. This sometimes happen after changing coolant.

If it still reduces, get it checked by service centre.

Check the radiator cap. Maybe it's leaking or not properly tightened.

what is current reading on odometer ? when u changed gear oil ?
something like this happened to my car last year, i went to suzuki dealership and they diagnosed nothing

It was just 20k.. I went to Suzuki and they just added some gear oil and now it is fixed..
Don't know why gear oil was low but it fixed the problem now my car became soundless..

exact same thing happened to my car, its basically the scratching sound of clutch release bearing which remains noisy till the engine is fully heated up.

in January 2019 car's approx mileage was 16.5k, it was cold and i started my car after 5/6 days, on startup there was no sound till 8-10min but when i rev the engine up to 3-4k RPM , right after that i felt sound and tried my best to diagnose the issue, turned on / off engine but no luck. then finally i diagnosed that its the GEARBOX, cauz when when i press clutch the sound turns OFF and its ON when clutch was released,

i checked the manual and it stated 2.2L oil in gearbox and in last service from ISLAMABAD MOTORS in nov-2017 they re-filled 2.0L in gearbox (near 5k mileage at that time)

then i refilled oil near 0.4L on my own from suzuki motors, i forgot dealership name (its opposite toyota rawal motors Rawalpindi)

no sound since then, now car's mileage is 25k

Yup same here.. For my car, noise starts when engine starts.. Same clutch release sound. I goto
Local mechanic to investigate and he told me to open gear box and change the bearings but then I moved to Suzuki azim motors I10 islamabad and they just filled gear oil.. They told me in this model no gear issue found so that's why they want to check it first before opening gear box.
They added gear oil and issue removed..
Don't know why it happened but it is okay now.

When I got my wagon R's gear oil changed, only 2 litres came out which was refilled by new 2 litre gear oil. Should I add 0.2 litres?

I just did. I think you're right becuase it didn't reduced further after few days. So it could be some air trapped in pipes. Will monitor now. Thanks for your guidance.

as per manual Gear oil is 2.2L (but u plz re-check ur manual too cauz my model is 2017)
and
engine oil is 2.9L but all official suzuki 3S topup 3.0L (if u check dip stick, oil is above max limit if u refil above 2.9L)
