Passo-Pickup problem with AC On

Hi Car Experts,
Hope you all are doing well.

I have one question regarding my Passo pickup with AC on. When AC is on, my car take a quite high force to accelerate, when it stops and i push the accelerator,it feels stuck and immediately it jerk and move on.
Any idea about this issue?And remedy of this issue ?

Hi.I'm not a car expert neither a mechanic however i've some knowledge abt cars as my father is running an auto part shop from last 40years . the sudden jerk on accelration shows that gear oil needs to be changed .if its not the gear oil then u might need to clean or change the spark plugs .

Actually issue is not jerk during the normal, but with AC on,this type of issue appeared. Additionally recently i have changed the gear oil, so I dont think it is the issue with gear or gear oil.

I face a similar challenge. I believe this is normal for a 1000 cc CVT.

Alsalam O Alaikum,

I am also facing same problem about Passo pickup with AC on, it feels that its really crawling as overtaking.
The engine sound changes as i press the throttle it feels very heavy and very irritating.I'm using passo hana 2012 model since 2.5 years but it was not like that before but in this this summer the problem started.

kindly if any one had same issue and he solved please help me and others who are facing this right now.

it must be clogged. does your car consume fuel too?

more like cat converter to me.

My car has started messing up the same.

with and without AC.

before it was rattling and jerking on AC.

I am gona get my cat cleaned

From where you are going to get CAT converter cleaned?

if its CAT converter
pick with/without AC will be reduced. top speed and acceleration reduced. bad fuel consumption

few people wrote pick issue only with AC.thats why i said compressor problem

Pick without ac is ok but acceleration is a bit noisy in low gears. What would be the problem?

you can compare to that
it sounds more like a choked cat converter to me...if the sound is heavy, it means exhaust is blocked

I got it replaced.. bought a kabuli one with sensor for 7000.... but you can go to Khan autos in dha 2 if you are from Karachi. My fuel consumption has been reduced a bit. Gonna test 3-4 days to get an average consumption.

cat converter when clogged, starts creating problems on AC.... but after its totally clogged, it makes problems without AC too and the sound is like sports cars.. its like the NOS is turned on....
