Passo-Pickup problem with AC On

Hi Nouman,
Yesterday i visited 2 mechanics and ask them for service of Cat converter, there 1st response was, remove it, we normally removed CAT Converters..
One mechanic told me that i will do the service but it will block again, i ask him that how u wil service ? he ans me that he will use oil and taizab for its cleaning. Is it ok for CAT Convrtr service?

Hi Hash,
Hmm AC is working fine, but when AC On, pressure on Engine increase. before i was not facing that issue, it startd around 1 or 1 n a half month ago.
1st i will try to clean its CAT Convrtr, after that if the issue was still there then wl chq its compressor as well.

Additionally,is there any special technique or oil or something available for Cat convrtr service? Because one of the mechanic told me that remove it, but i told him that no, do the service, he told me he will do the service by using some oil, taizab etc. well i dnt know, whethr he will do it correctly or jst so so...?

there is a fuel additive which can be used to clean CAT
not sure about availability in PK

over here they physically take it out and wash it with mild acid

never get cat cleaned. you will start having check engine light as the O2 sensor won't sense cat.

Better get it replaced or serviced. Go to Khan autos in dha 2.

I have Passo/Hana 2010, it gives me an average of 11/KM as per the average meter shown in the speedometer.

Can any one please tell me how to reset that average meter ?. someone told me that the average meter get reset once you filled the fuel tank, or reset the trip A, or trip B . I did both but the average meter remained as is. Please suggest ?

When your trip meter is at A, push the nob for 3 seconds to reset.
The nob i am referring is the one through which you change to different meter readings (i.e. A, B or total mileage)

catalytic converter

unplug the battery negative terminal and re plug it after two minutes. it will be reset

The issue is with catalytic converter , i have same issue . but for a reason my O2 sensor needs replacement which further damaged the cat converter top not , so i have no option to change both. i did it and now i Car is working fine both with A/C on and OFF

want to ask one thing regarding passo 2006 model ac doesn't work properly in previous season i waste allot of money as well time but got no output now as seson start again am in market with some refrence in search of a gud ac mechanicsas one of my friend suggest me a mechanic named as " arif car ac workshope is situated at kotha pind flats faisal town (according to my friend the mechanic is well experienced in japanese car ac ) mechanic told me after check up that my cars engine is weak on that engine ac will not work prorply engine got heat and make cut off the ac thatz is the reason which make all previous effort useless now what u guys suggest me?? should i replace assembly ?

Hi

I am currently having the same issue, i have wagon r JDM 2014. 50000 KM done. It works fine without ac but as i turned on the Ac it hesitate to accelerate and jerks till 40KMPH. I did replaced the compressor as well but same issue. I am now told to get cat converter cleaned from machine as it may be clogged and due to load on ac its not working properly

Brother fallow this video your problem will solved 100% . I spent more than 30000 PKR on this AC issue . This video is not Passo car but its similar to AC issue .

100% well diagnosed. Same iasue was with my Passo. Got the cat converter cleaned from Javed denso workshop from Jail road and issue has been resolved
