Civic at 54 lacs is still far superior than segment B crossover. So both are over priced in fact civic is less overpriced than 2008.

i think now i would say civic XI is overprice due to detuned engine and less features compare to Peugeot 2008, btw those who have test driven 2008 were loving the torque and power. Btw this thread is dead as no one is interested in 2008.

2008 has very good drive . I drove it. Yes its very congested and other than drive its just doesn’t make sense

While Lucky is in the process of launching 3008 in the near future, the next generation is already being tested in prototype form. The shell being used on the prototype is of an older 308 but the innards are all new. Expected to debut next year.

As I said above, they're using the shell of an older car over the new model and this is standard practice in prototype testing, which is different from mule testing where we see production-ready bodies covered with camouflage.
In a few months, you will be able to see the actual body of the car when launch is near.

Peugeot Pakistan has plans to launch Peugeot e-2008 in the next phase during its operations.

According to the details, Lucky Motors Corporation Limited (LMCL) officially launched its Peugeot operations in Pakistan with the unveiling of its locally assembled first crossover SUV Peugeot 2008. The company also shared its plans regarding the electric vehicles in the country and indicated that the company is looking forward to introduce the electric version of Peugeot 2008 in the next phase. A test unit of Peugeot e-2008 was also on display at the official launch event at LMCL plant.

I spoke to Peugeot country manager and they are not going to import any e-2008 cbu but might go for ckd or semi-ckd as they are working on it.

Do tell them to reduce their prices too. They are not selling top German brands, pricing a B-segment daily driver close 6.0 Mills doesnt make sense though!

i did but its not in his hand, he told me it will take time to absorb this high price and also they r not going to increase their prices again every 3 months like others do.

Car has excellent drive overall no doubt so much better than sportage but leg room for the price is a problem

This car is shaping up to be an even bigger failure than the Sorento. Sorento to phir bhi aik aad nazar a jati hai road par and is a good value for money car these days.

Sorento was launched a year ago plus its biggest PKDM SUV/Crossover in mkt and also price is good compare to Fortuner. It failed to capture the mkt is coz of old shape, ground height is low like carnival and 3.5V6 top of the line doesnt come in awd.

I think Peugeot 2008 will take time to capture the mkt and remember Lucky Motor is not assembling in higher number of Peugeot in the same KIA plant, maximum 100-200 will be produce a month.
