Your efs partition is gone or corrupt, if you have its backup than you are golden. Otherwise ita a pita. For 9500 or 9505, i would go for CM 11/12

CM 10 series is best for your S2 T989. It is officially supported, very stable, fast, and light weight (improved battery timings).

You need to take backup of 'everything', including backup from TWRP recovery or titanium backup, backup of EFS, all phone data backup (especially contacts), in external sd card or some safe place.

Custom roms requires factory reset (all phone data is lost).

This is the easiest method. After installing CM installer, it will let you know if this method is supported on your phone or not.

If supported, follow that. If not supported, then manual installation will be needed.

Method 1.
Download Samsung KIES on computer, then connect your phone to PC and then try updating phone via KIES. 4.4.4 update is available.

Method 2.
If method 1 doesn't work, you have to flash this using ODIN.

Note:

Data backup is necessary.

Do not root it, just update it.

In AP box of ODIN, select the extracted firmware file (.tar), downloaded from sammobile.

No need to download firmware file from droidviews.

Disclaimer:
Since your phone is already corrupted, so flashing may make things even worse, like signals issue.

But usually updating firmwares fixes the issues. So do it at your own risk.

Grand 2 duos (7102) ram issue fixed.

Android 4.3 Grand 2 was OTA updated to 4.4.2. The total ram it shows is 1.35 gb in task manager after update.

N910C Lollipop. You need to flash this via ODIN. Your phone will remain 100% stock, provided you do it correctly.

For successful downgrading of Grand 2 Duos 7102.

Grand 2 duos (7102) kitkat.

These above kitkat firmwares are downgrading successfully to this version of jellybean. One of my friends read on XDA and tested himself.

Note: all kitkat firmwares are not downgrading to jellybean.

Either you can downgrade to this 4.3 Android and then flash 4.3 Pakistan firmware and then update to 4.4.2 via OTA updates or KIES.

^tested, but lengthy and risky, as 4.3 downgrading sometimes cause problems.

Or

Flash this outdated 4.4.2 and then update to latest firmware of 4.4.2 via OTA update or KIES.

This should fix the ram issue, but still no guarantee on this second option.

Yup i use it besides Greenify, same working pattern like amplify, as xposed is still in alpha stage for TW roms, amplify doesnt work without it, so servicely comes in but only downside is the limited scope of it. But still i works nicely.
