on which version of android you are, officially the xperia l was launched with 4.1 jb and the official support just ended on 4.2.2 jb.
But there are some good custom lollipop and kitkat rom for your mobile at Xperia L Original Android Development - XDA Forums
after living so many days with samsung official lollipop crap on my s4, yesterday installed optimized cm12.1 rom on my S4 Lte and it's blazing fast. The only good thing about the samsung rom is stability, which custom rom lacks a bit as of now.

Just an addition to this Adaway (ad blocker).
To be able to block ads in Google Chrome, its data saver setting must be 'off'.
With data saver 'on', adaway ad blocking in Google Chrome doesn't work.

You need to have LTE enabled SIM and coverage as well.

Pakistan didn't receive lollipop update yet, but you can use this on I9500, the phone will remain 100% stock.
International release or unicom (Chinese variant official kitkat rom) that you installed?. That works great on international 3C too, as i tested few months ago.
