I heard both the RSR and GT1 run as they were driven to their transporter's, both cars were quiet. I'm sure the RSR had silencers.

Another rare Porsche....a 924 Carrera GTS. Only 59 car's were produced. The car had lightweight fenders, bumpers, doors, and hood. The side windows and rear hatch were plexiglass. The brakes were from the 911 Turbo and the seats from the 935. The engine was turbocharged and produced 245bhp.

Maybe if they're being driven at low engine speeds, it's possible that they wouldn't make noise. Like one of those Squire's Turbo Systems turbo kits. But with an open outlet at the turbine and and open outlet for the wastegate, at full chat, it'll be noisy I think.

Yeah I see what you're saying but I just expected the RSR to be much louder at idle. Even the quiet GT1 idle came as a surprise because naturally aspirated 911's can be very loud.
