Agree but what I am trying to say is that the crash had nothing to do with fasting. The pilot was ok till the last moment. His voice seemed normal. He was ready to land before the engines failed.
He even said mayday mayday mayday very calmly.
Engine failure had nothing to do with low sugar levels.

I believe there is not just one pilot in A320 cockpit. We can apply low sugar level analysis but probability of same on both Pilots [The Captain and the First officer] does not make sense.

Bro we are not against fasting, but if it says in the SOPs, it doesn't make sense to take that chance does it ? Basically the problem solving ability, attending to multiple alarms and catering a emergency situation, it all becomes stressful and with an empty stomach, it tends to impair your thinking ability.

There were two pilots at least. As Fazal bhai said hota bhi to sugar level aik ke low hote.
Even if they were fasting and went low on sugar levels, they could have broken the fast.
Thing is it was not because of low sugar levels balke it was because of technical issues

unless the Captain of flight ( the person at yoke) decide to shift command over-to co-pilot he is only an observer helper navigator with flight manual / log open in his lap. His duty is only to repeat the action of person at Yoke , yes only repeat and say : check, roger , affirmative. - all is recorded over CVR.( cockpit voice recorder) even the dirty jokes they share or talk about a fellow female crew member.
CVR is automatically erased at end of safe landing and when GPU is connected.

Cockpit voice recorder will reveal the suicidal intentions of the criminal pilot. Co-pilot is allowed to TAKE OVER ONLY when Captain is physically disabled to act.

In case of PK 8303 the captain was either drunk or sick with no focus over flight controls and destroyed 99 families.

I believe in the case of PK8303, the Captain was the pilot flying and the First Officer was the pilot monitoring. Overconfidence in their own skill-set may have been a contributing factor since they weren't following SOPs and checklists.

We all have become judges, lawyers, jury, etc.

Wouldn't it be better, if we all wait for the official reports / verdict to come, instead of jumping to our own conclusions & speculations?

But I know for sure pilots are pretty solidly trained people with nerves of tool grade steel.

But it won’t be a first time of human error, specially in Pakistan

There have been a lot of such instances, but such information is never made public because pilots are considered heroes in Pakistan.

today when you are up awake in your senses

driving back home or reaching your work place

do not slow down and attempt to enter your parking area without applying any brakes

if your car stop without any damage here and there come back and type your reply how did it happened.

If you ask me, practically I would not even consider the IAF Pilot Abhinandan a Hero..We had sent him to cause damage not to get caught ..But in his case m sure India would have sent his best of the pilots but chances of going something wrong with fighter planes is much higher ...also he was constantly being targeted in dog fight so he suffered ..but in case of commercial pilots ..they can take sufficient time to evaluate the situation because they are not alone in plane...so if they have violated the SOPs ..than they are greater criminals than the fighter pilots ...they can't be called heroes by any stretch of imaginations..

Wow didnt know tht whole of air crash investigation team is busy writing words in this forum.baki fransisi team to yahan chanay bechne aai thi.pilot was drunk or it all happened because he was fasting.or he was flying fr last five days etc are all assumptions.let experts do there job.jis din maut likhi hoti hai usi din hokar rehti hai.pilot sajjad gul was one of the best pilots of Pakistan and extremely trustworthy.either it was mechanical error or human error only time will tell.may Allah forgive there sins

Nobody is saying or challenging about cap Gul’s competency. I’m sure with a experience of 17000 plus hours he was a confident and good pilot. But then mistakes do happen. Remember the fatal crash of f16 in Islamabad on 23mar rehearsals, now that pilot was commandant of top gun school , one of the best fighter pilots , but made a mistake that particular time.
Absolutely right that we should wait for the findings to come out , which as usual will not , but this forum is just for discussion or opinions , or close this thread then.
