Planing to mod civic

hey guys this is my first thread here in pakwheels
me and my cousin are planing to mod my civic
my civic is 2003 model crystal lights
it is totally bone stock with d16w9 or d16w7 engine [dont know really]
i have 1.5 lac budget and need helps from u guys
i have questions to be answered :
what kind of turbo can it run [complete kit ] and what kind of exhaust and it's piping [catback+piping in inches]
what if i turbo charged it will the stock abs brakes catch up with the speed or acceleration
i want to make the exterior totally stock
just want to add performance to the engine
want kind of Tyre will i need
and also which is the best tuning shop in Karachi which provides genuine parts and is also cheaper than others
and i also wana know tht my civic is vtec or non vtec

If it's a D16W9, then yes it's a VTEC, you can obviously see that written on your engine.

I suggest don't go for a turbo kit, you will end up regretting it in the long run, but that's just my opinion, contact ahad_civic as he was running a turbo D17 (and did blow up an engine).

There's always a risk involved when installing an induction kit, why not go for N/A setup?

d16w9 cant withstand too much boost...you wont have alot of fun with it !!!
but what you can do is get some all motor stuff for your d16w9 like an adjustable cam gear ,a highlift camshaft,a lightweight flywheel,2.25 inch straight pipng,headers,ground wiring,a bigger coil(msd etc),10mm wires,plugs,a longram intake and get your ecu chipped from a professional....All this will be more than enough to put a smile on your face ....
for tyres get some good rotationals with some lightweight rims !!

u havent mentioned ur car is exi or vti...if its vti then its simple tht u got vtec engine....anyway ur budget is 1.5 lacs which is less for branded turbo kit....go to Zamzama Commercial Lane#4, DHA Phase 5...u ll find some shops there

swap the engine simply .. and keep the original engine until u dun sell the car .. when ur pleasure is over just put the original engine back.. Heavy pocket is required but this way would be alot better

many people said tht it is not possible to swap a b series engine in civic 2003
and my father wont allow me to swap the engine
turbo is the only option i got
and if it is so please tell me the price of a b16 engine with complete installation setup

Your Civic is VTi Prosmatec or VTi Manual? And contact @Nabuas on pakwheels. He's selling a complete turbo kit for d16 (A to Z everything needed for u to boost ur car, even oil lines and all are made, branded BOV and brand new intercooler, td04 turbo, complete piping, boost and oil gauge, fuel pump and all). But the thing is that if your car is an Auto tranny, dont waste money modifying its engine.

Thanks ROhansaeed, Jz, and born2race for my referance - means alot! :)@OP, as Hash4u said, when you don't know your engine code, or whether even VTi is vtec or not - i suggest you to not take such a panga. In the several years ive devoted to my civic, ive learnt that you have to pay to play, and what ever you do, do it once and do it right, cuz if you go for cheap parts, you will keep facing problems and want to burn down your entire car. These things require alot of personal knowledge and research, you cannot expect to pay someone to do it for you b ecuase it will not be done right and you will just be looted. 1.5 laks is not a bad bugdet for a turbo d16, you can easily make it fast enough to beat rx8s or go head to head with 350z.the entire kit includes:-turbo manifold-turbine-bigger injectors-intercooler-intercooler piping-larger exhaust (2.5 inch complete turbo/axle back)-bov-fuel managementyou need all of the above to run a well done, fast, and reliable turbo setup. my great friend @ Nabuas has a complete kit, details he can give as i have minimal knowledge of what exactly he has. Ive got the fuel management specifically for the d16w9 if you're interested.another friend of mine @ MOAK (asad) on pakwheels has a professional workshop in karachi by the name of "The tweak shop" he has years of tuning and engine building experience with the d16 so hes the guy i'd suggest.Just remember... Reliable, cheap, fast - Pick two

boy as far as knowledge is censored about cars masallah i have alot of knowledge about cars it was just my dream to boost up my car

it's just tht i didn't paid tht much attention to the engine. i posted this thread before i could look up my engine
