Planning To Buy A New City But Confused

Asalam o alaikum

I'm planning to buy a new City. But i'm confused b/w different variants of Basic City Model, 1.3L Aspire(Manual) & 1.5L Aspire (Manual). I usually drive around the city(Lahore)! Can some one plz guide me in terms of

Engine Power
Entertainment System(Nav, Multimedia)
Comfort Level
Fuel Average/Mileage
Value for Money

Also if possible what will be the delivery time! How much "Own" i have to pay if i opt out for this.

horse power of both 1.3 and 1.5 is same that is 120,

rest in 1.3 series, manual gives you all the power you need, auto 1.3 is sluggish

in 1.5 series, people mostly buy auto, manual resale is low in 1.5, but it offers tremendous power

i m not engineer, check their specs on website, you dont feel lack of power in both cars

its just the issue of acceleration in 1.3 auto, rest all versions are great

most people buy cars keeping in mind the market value, so that they can easily sell it in future....

sorry i am mistaken, i took info from a blog which is false, i checked official site and here it is,

1.3 is 100 bhp (both auto and manual)

1.5 is 120 bhp

Although the difference of Horsepower doesn't seem much (just 20), the overall drive of 1.5litre City is much better than 1.3. Since I've both City Aspires (1.3 and 1.5) I will always go for the 1.5 litre City just coz of its drive and pickup. Fuel consumption isn't considerable so I would suggest you go for 1.5litre Aspire.

The first post of yours mentions base model 1.3, 1.3 Aspire and 1.5Aspire. I compared the 1.3 and 1.5 aspires only and the difference between the two a few weeks back was merely 20k or is it 25k now?

Even if you compare the features, its quite worth it if you go for Aspire one due to Navigation (Back view camera is a nice feature), alloys, leatherite car seat covers, fog lamps, high mount brake lamp in the back etc are some goodies that add value to the car and worth more than 120k (between 1.3L manual and 1.3L Aspire Manual).

I didn't have to make any alterations in my 1.3L aspire 2012 from the day 1 and still stock including its electrical systems, and seats etc. Only floor mats were added. Back in 2005 when I bought brand new City iDSI I made the mistake of getting after market seat covers coz of kids, and the seat cover wala ustad literally smashed a few plastic brackets of the car. In Aspire you don't need to go for aftermarket goodies most of the times unless you are one of those guys....and if you are..... you better go for 1.3L Manual. In my books such after market works by pakistani ustads literally damage the car beyond any repair. Hope I was able to explain my point.

I would advise you to wait buying anything till the second quarter of 2017 as there is news floating of many other City level car variants entering the market. Maybe wait and see what comes first and how it affects the market and resale values etc ?

A manual transmission will give you better acceleration and fuel economy. However, the comfort and ease of an automatic transmission can never be obtained from a manual, especially in heavy traffic!

It will be 1000cc turbo and more power & better pick up than Altis 1.6 or City 1.5 Vtec and fuel economy better than new Vitz.
Price and With holding tax plus registration will be like that of Cultus.
Don't buy wait 10 months more as per the news!
