Major works that I have got done on my car i.e city idsi 2005 bought at 84000 and now at around 113000km.
Fuel pump replaced twice once got a substandard one changed to better one and going good. 1st was for 1600 and 2nd was for 2500. 4100
Ac compressor repair+clutch change. 6500
Real wheel hubs changed since honda does not produce separate wheel bearings you have to buy whole hub. 3000
Changed disc plates front. 4000
Rubber bushings i.e lower control arm bushings, shock mounts, engine mounts etc. 3000
The headlight assembly got burnt changed it with kabli. 3000
Injectors were clogged to death. changed them with kabli. 3500
Engine knonk sensor was broken by some idiot mechanic in past. 1000
Thats all major repairs done on my car they cost me 27,100.
Apart from these I have got done tuning twice once at time of purchase and one after 20k kms. Cost for tuneups is 1000 spark plugs and 2000 labour for complete tuneup including throtle service. Total cost 6000rs.
Oil change after 4000kms have done 7 oil changes going for 8th one. Cost 2500 per oil change i.e 17500.
Front brake pads replaced thrice cost around 4000rs for 3 replacements and rear replaced once 1000 rs.
Alignment and wheel balancing at almost every oil change 600 per job i,e 4000rs.
Total of routine maintenance is 28,500+ 1 Ac service from punjab car ac at 4000rs. i.e 32500.
Total I have spent is 32,500+27,100=59,600 and labour of around 5,400 for major parts replacement like suspension bushings and brake pad change etc and fuel pump replacement.
Total repair cost is 65000rs and that is inclusive of every penny that I have spent including oil change.
I bought the car in june 2011 and since than I have run it almost 30,000kms in almost 3 years. So around 22000rs per year repair bill. And one thing that this will decline to around 18000rs per year in 2-3 coming years since I spent around 40,000rs in first year of purchase changing things that the previous owner did not change
