Heyy Guys. We (2 Persons Only) want to go Neelam Valley atleast till "Kel" on Mehran.. Here r my sum Querries abt our Trip which i want to share wid u...

--We Have:
-Physically Fit Mehran
-We both r V.Gud Drivers
-Tent
-Stoove, Food Items, Non-Stick Pan
-Cane for Petrol

--- Sum Questions:
-Is Mehran feasible for the trip till "Kel" ( Road Conditions )
-What about the availability of Petrol till "Kel"
-Wht abt Availability of Food, Hotel Fare etc
- Any other comment which u want to share..

dost i have been to kel many times and once or twce onm y mehran as well. now the road is in not that condition jis may mehran par jao. gari ke ma behan 1 ho jay ge is tour may. i had to change my silencer when i cam bak from kel in 2007.........
i have been many times to kutton atnmukam etc on my mehran as well. also forward kahuta area on my mehran. so take my suggestion and do not go in mehran.
petrol is available in attmuqam. not after that.
kel may hotels hain but very low quality. food bhe mil jata hai but its better u take along with u packed or canned food
kel may chance hota hai but is very rare........
upar say if u go in mehran it will take around 12-15 hrs from islamabad!!!!!!!!!

oks you can test ur driving skills on ur mehran on this route...

but not at all recommended...

aap jitney bhi achey driver ho jao, mehran ki ..... lagey hi lagey gi...

Can we go On by Jeep from Muzafrabad to Sharda, if yes what is the one way fare ?

Last year In July we went all the way up to Kel on Mehran and Honda City. But it was before the floods in July. I think the road condition now will be much more worse.See the following thread for the road condition before the last floods.

We Have set a plan to visit till taobut on 10th of June.
According to local person in muzafarabad Roads are open to sharda and kel.
Hopefully we 8 to 10 persons in a cultus and civic.
I will inshallah update here conditions of road with pictures after 14th June

i use to day one thing...

if ever one want to see the attitude... he must have to visit neleum valley...

so humble so friendly so nice one cant imagine..

just go up there, u will be warmly welcomed

The best way of visiting and enjoying the lovely Neelum valley is by walking. From Kundalshahi till Taobut is probably worlds prettiest walk. The second best way probably is by motorbikes.
This way you are closest to nature and its beauty.
Taking cars is cruel to the machines and your pockets. I dont think it is wise to do it unnecessarily. Travelling on roof of a bus is a much better option.

yar dil he khrab kar dia hay road condition ka bata kar. public or own transport, each has its own pros and cons. Lakin apni swari tu apni hoti hay jahan chaho kharri kar lo. lakin agar road condition he itni buri ho kah taobut tak driving kartay aap ki bus ho jaey tu enjoy karnay ka kia maza. jain tu kahan jain

@awaisaliliaqat: Beauty can't be access so easily Agar Taobut itna he easy hota tu her banda wahan pohncha hota na. But only the tuff survives
