alee kinda had an idea. give it a small motor and an extra battery. put dynamo on the car so that whenever it moves battery is charged run half time on petrol and half on electricity

hybrids are good.. though only u must make certain that the dynamo doenst drain power..

coz the engine is already tiny.. even the slightest load matters..

on the other hand you can set it up so that dynamo engages only when you brake.. and you have regenerative braking

man i m in love with you.you are 16 and have ideas maturer then your age.thumbs up for u.as far as skeleton is considered we are planing driver to be a girl of weight 35-40 kgs.i cant b driver as i m 88kgs and my waist is 38
if i use some other means of power then gasoline i would not be in prototype category.will tell in details diff b/w prototype n urban

another idea. some small wind turbines on the front. they will run by the wind and wont put any load on the engine.

negative.car will move at low speeds.20km/h-30km/h so turbines wont work

i meant that 20kph isnt too much for a human to paddle. i had the idea that the human could pedal till the required speed and then leave it to the engine to maintain it.

last year one of my friend participated frm UET.they passed all tests but there car broked down on track.Bhai do use Proper Chain tensioners.shockabosrbers etc as track is tricky their

yes i suggest that you test it for at least 100km on gt road. the road is bumpy so it will test the car well

If the engine is brand new do some good amount of running before taking the ride to Malaysia this will help to indicate fabrication and other problem and foremost engine will be in motion which will help in better economy.Use lighter Aloys like t6151 for fabrication of chain sprocket.Inspite of steel plates etc use Nylon as it dont melts tht easily and is way lighter.
Use better quality plugs like Iridiums tip.Inspite of carb install and fuel injector which ur electricol team can control with some tweaks.

3rd and fourth pic,chassy gets painted.and roll bar gets installed.chassy is fibreglass.tyre are sponge tyres.sponge tyres being light weight and they cant go flat.(heard that competitors puncture your tyre and then u find cycle wallas in malaysia )
