Bro, there is a difference in names on my educational documents and passport. Can it cause any problem in getting attested
degree from Saudi cultural office or embassy as got a job offer from Saudi firm?
Degree has been attested from HES and MOFA.

On educational documents HAFIZ is written whereas on passport not.

Hi,

i have done my A levels from a British school in Dubai, UAE and have now come to Karachi, Pakistan for studies in Bachelors. I am trying to apply to Allama Iqbal Open University but they are asking for equivalence certificate. Now in order for me to get the equivalence certificate from IBCC ( inter board committe of chairmen) i need to submit my original "attested" certificates of O Level and A Level.
Can someone please advise where do I need to go to get my certificates attested. Do I need to get them attested from Pakistan or Dubai? if Pakistan, then where in Pakistan and if Dubai then where in Dubai.

I am really confused and I don't know anyone who has been through this situation.

I would really appreciate your help in this!

Looks like a bit complicated system. As I haven't gone through it personally, I wont be able to guide you. However, you may visit Inter Board Committee of Chairmen, Islamabad and you can find answers to your queries there.

If the mark sheet is not necessary, why there is written SSC and HSSC Certificate along with mark sheet every where at HEC WEBSITE :S

Because HEC people are idiots. I recently attested my Bachelors degree so I can tell you they don't ask for Matric and Inter marks sheet.

I submitted simple photocopies not attested.

I have some questions:
1. If I want to do attestation of photocopies of my Bachelor degree via OCS, Do I have to send all my original documents also to hec (including original cert of matric/fsc) or will the photocopies be enough (in case one attest the photocopies from hec branch office i.e. a stamp with "original seen" and then the photocopies only to hec Islamabad via ocs)?

1. I have attested my bachelor degree (original one and a photocopy also) few years before, If I want a new photocopy to be attested, will they also re-attest the original one again and i have to pay fee full fee for re-attestation and send all documents again?

2. Anyone recently attested from hec by walk-in? is booking the time-slot in advance must before u go there?

I went through some degree attestation procedures recently, and I thought I should share the requirements and procedures here so that it may help others as well.

Given below are the three stamps that I had to get on my Bachelor's degree and I will explain the procedure of each.

Firstly your post was an enormous help. I just submitted by degree for attestation at UAE Embassy Islamabad, however there was a flag raised by SASHA that since the degree was attested from foreign Affairs in Karachi there might be issue. Anyways with exhaustion setting in, I would appreciate if you can tell me how long was your security clearance process.

When it comes to Dubai, it can be an issue. Its better you get it changed. Your new degree will hold the same value.

i have an other issue. my metric degree laminated with permanent sheet, is there any issue if i send to these in IBCC for attestation, or to d eliminated to its back before send to IBCC, what you suggest?

(i am afraid if i do so with degree may be it will rupture or some kind of paper damage due to hard lamination)
