Procedure & Requirements: Degree Verification/Attestation,Duplicate Certificates etc

Thanks a lot for your reply,
i have an other issue. my metric degree laminated with permanent sheet, is there any issue if i send to these in IBCC for attestation, or to d eliminated to its back before send to IBCC, what you suggest?

(i am afraid if i do so with degree may be it will rupture or some kind of paper damage due to hard lamination)

Bro! You never get your original certificates laminated! How on earth would the plastic sheet hold the stamp? :S
This would be an issue. Check with the FBISE if they have some solution...

I had my degrees de-leminated in Faisal Town Lahore. The guy charged Rs. 500 for two.

I went to hec in h9 yesterday at 10am but the place was over crowded and the guy at the gate said token limit is finished. I knew there and then that a contact or sifarish will be required for this job as mentioned in the topic. Went today with sifarish and got it done in an hour although im not sure what they will give me tomorrow as im getting foreign degree equivalence certificate from hec. Then there's MOFA and UAE embassy. All in all its a money making scam to tease people. I have my bachelors and masters from abroad but still i have to go through an incompetent and painstakingly slow process to affirm their authenticity. Why can't the UAE embassy directly contact my university to confirm rather than put me through so much trouble. Seems the UAE embassy takes kindly to the bureaucracy and red tape in this country of ours.

On a side note it says on HEC website:

HEC does not attest "foreign degrees/Deeni Asnaad". However, their equivalence is determined by"EQUIVALENCE CELL" of HEC.

So im guessing i'll be receiving an equivalence certificate which will get attested from MOFA and UAE embassy after which im good to go. I also forgot to thank the person who started the thread as i would've been clueless otherwise on what to do.

** UPDATE **

Today I sent someone to SASHA to get the degrees attested from UAE embassy.

1. Their current charges are PKR 4500 per document.
   2. The attestation from HEC should not be done more then 6 months ago. My degrees were attested way back in 2011 so I have to get them attested again. FU***** BAS*****.

i would like to commend your efforts to help fellow students, now i will go prepared to HEC office. I have a problem that i improved a subject privately (on my DMC ex-student of Army Burn Hall is written though) so from where do i get my HSSC certificate? My board is FBISE.

All discussion very useful regarding HEC..Few points if ppl who already been through this could clarify !

1)If you reach @ 08:00 am and all goes smooth,what time of the day attested document is expected to be returned ?
2)How do you pay for the charges ,In cash inside HEC at one of the counters 1,2,3,4,5 ?

1) You should aim at reaching at 7:30am so you are one of the first few to get in hec. Make sure you log in to hec website and print out receipt as discussed in thread beginning. Regarding returning of docs, they will confirm to you.
2) You can pay cash and demand draft i think but stick to cash to be safe.

By Grace of Allah my both problem are solved, Now my question is i need to Original Degree of Masters to go abroad, or DMC is sufficient??

That's great news!

In the UAE, you only need the degrees that are attested by the UAE Embassy in Pakistan. If your Masters Degree (DMC or Degree) isn't attested, it holds no worth here.

i got my DMC in Nov 2012. there is a long procedure to get Degree earlier then convocation of the University,
therefor i am thinking to Attest DMC from UAE embassy, is any issue in UAE if i have only DMC (attested from UAE embassy).

That is what I said. UAE will accept anything that is attested by their Embassy in Pakistan whether it is Degree, DMC or Nushka by Hakeem! HOWEVER it is better you get your degree attested!
