Nice thread istafa u hv started. I want to share my experience of attestation from hec. There are two ways you can get it done from khi. Ocs and hec Karachi branch. I got it done via OCS. They took abt a month and half and 800 per document(hec charges) and abt 300 rupees coirifor attestation. Hec office were also asking the same amount of time and money.

Brother why does one need to have SSC and HSSC equivalences for attestation of a bachelors degree?

I have O and A level certificates, and have equivalences issued by IBCC.

Guys, I have a question. I have my degree attested from HEC and I only need to get copies of my degree attested by HEC, do I need to send them my original documents to get the photocopies attested? or they can just send me the photocopies attested checking from the record they have of me?

I went through some degree attestation procedures recently, and I thought I should share the requirements and procedures here so that it may help others as well.

Given below are the three stamps that I had to get on my Bachelor's degree and I will explain the procedure of each.

2) Also I have submitted the attestation fee in the HEC HBL online account, so the same voucher will be used or i have to undergo some other process.

hello Ista111, I need to get attestation from HEC only for BA/MA degrees. can you explain if we need to also get attested the SSC & HSSC certificates from respected boards and IBCC before going to HEC for verification of our Bachelor and Master degrees? Did you get your SSC and HSSC certificates attested from your boards (like federal board etc) and IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairmen)? plz reply soon. thanx

hi I am planning to visit UAE for job search and want to get attested my documents before departure, can you kindly guide that all documents such as SSC, HSSC, Graduation and CA Intermediate certificate need to attested from foreign office and UAE embassy as fee of UAE embassy is very high. Salaam everyone. This is a very informative forum and I am so glad I found this thread on the internet. I am a doctor based in UK and I have been offered a job in Saudi Arabia. I did my O levels, then HSC and then MBBS from Karachi. I need to get my MBBS degree attested by HSC. I have following documents now:
1. Original O level certificates. I have had somebody apply to Inter Board Karachi for equivalence - this is taking time
2. Intermediate Part 1 original marksheet, Part 2 original marksheet ( I had somebody to get a duplicate because my original was submitted to Karachi University at the time of enrolment to medical college)
3. I do not have Intermediate certificate because I never got one. I did FSc from D J College in 1993-94. Will they still have my original inter certificate ? should I apply for a duplicate certificate from board office or will the marksheets be enough?
4. Original MBBS degree and original MBBS mark sheets.

Can somebody please help? I will be very obliged. Thank you.

Recently when i sent my degree and transcript to HEC for attestation via the courier service option, they attested my degree but refused to attest my transcript citing the reason: "Nomenclature of degree title should be same on Degree and Transcript".

What i gather from this objection is that the title mentioned on my (and my batch mates') degree is "Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering" whereas the title on transcript is "BE Mechanical Engineering". Stupid NUST!

Moreover, they damaged my transcript by first pasting the attestation stamp on it and then ripping it off, which tore off the text written on the transcript's back. Now i'll have to reapply for a transcript and then send it again.

In US final report is notarized till I didn't need to bother with attested in Europe and US. but never used anything in UAE.

for acca membership you just need a letter of member in good standing form acca office and that will do the trick.

I have a problem with my degrees, actually I have done three semester from an institute which was affiliated with Sindh University on that time after completion of three semester I transferred my credit hours to PIMSAT Karachi due to cancellation of affiliation with Sindh University, now HEC returned back my Degree with objection (Verified transfer transcript to controller of exam University of Sindh) I went to university of Sindh, now they dont have any record about the institute where I completed three semester, I have also completed MBA from PIMSAT, my question is, is it possible to attest the higher degree MBA instead of attest BS (IT) first and then MBA, if I attest directly to MBA, is it enough to get the visa of Saudi, Please guys help me, I need your support in this regard.

I am looking forward to go to UAE may b on visit visa in search of job...but the problem is ,On my passport my name's spellings are written "Naqash Safdar" Father name "Safder Raheed"...you can see the difference in father's name...just a difference of a and e.

On all my degrees i have used Naqash safder F/N Safder rasheed.

Please let me know yh koe masla to nae create karay ga in applying for the visa?

There wont be any issue with the Visit Visa. However, when you will submit the degrees for attestation, there can be some issue due to difference in the spellings.

For visit visa it is fine. I do visas myself and trust me we even get requests from people with Surname "XXX"

If you are able to get the MBA degree attestes only, you can apply job on its base. That won't be an issue. But getting it attested would be an issue because you have to show the previous qualifications in order to get the last degree attested.

I am also from NUST and sent my degree + transcript for attestation in 2011.

My degree says bachelor of Electrical engineering

My transcript says BE Electrical Engineering

BOTH were attested and returned to me. SO, i am pretty sure that nomenclature thing is totally crap !!!

However there was another issue that i had to face... The attestation idiot did not put the (ink) stamp properly. Thus there was only his sign on the ticket that they stick at the back of the degree BUT no name / designation stamp..

I had to send it again so as to avoid any future problems as it looked really dodgy/fake atestation.

when i sent it again the Courier misplaced my original degree !! after lots of calling and then more calling they tracked it to the Couriers office in Lahore !!!!

After that they got it transferred to Isb for Re Verification !! Another New stamp and sign was placed at the back.. They did not admit their mistake till the end and charged me courier money again when resending.

Such is their working, NO ACCOUNTABILITY at all.

I hope you are fine, Can anyone guide me here, My fathers name on all of my documents is Muhammad akbar but on my matric degree is Muhd akbar, since I have done my matric from U.A.E through federal board and Muhd is widely accepted acronym of Muhammad. I just wanted to know would this create a problem for me while attestation of my bachelors degree From HEC or not?
