Adjusted headlights is a difficult task if the car has been in minor bumper collisions as the body frame behind alto headlights is not strong. even when u see from front it will look ok, but once u fit the bumpers and headlights, the beam of lights will remain out of focus.

yes, u r right, PKDM alto has no provision for fender indicators or side mirrors. manual mirrors are annoying but safe because of the bike walas kissing them always.

While if u have budget, u can convert this alto with japanese version parts like auto side mirrors, auto windows, diggi wiper, diggi spoiler some cool rims and extended bumpers with fogs provision.

The beam can be adjusted with the adjustment screw but either my lights are too local or don't know how to adjust them.

I tried leveling them on a Honda City aswell. I couldn't feel anything going up or down maybe it's just me.

Chaddar quality don't ask. If you see i painted black rubber spray behind bumpers too. Frame/Show of the car can be easily bent with a small plass. The denter installing the bumper pulled out a plass, Starightend it and installed a clip.

Yes I know off the all the Japanese parts available. I had almost purchased side mirrors and buttons worth 20k from rawalpindi, later got different prices 8k, 12k, then I let go of the idea.

I have purchased power steering setup, and rear diggi third brake light.

Missed installed power central locks, was quoted rs. 35k for complete power window setup.

Not doing that too.

For rear wiper the entire diggi needs to be replaced or cut and weld.

For now I am liking the basic car look.

Black non powered mirrors and stupnies with hub caps are going with the basic look.

Might get power mirrors and paint them Matt black. I am skeptical about that though.

Got window tints for esthetics, Almost shaped up before final suspension works.

Needs a thorough car wash and engine room detailing.

Now for it's and bits. The front left tire needs to be pulled ahead, bumpers removed, undercarriage wash and paint.

Hi there.

I went through the entire thread. I have also started to restore my 08 Alto with 82k original kms. It is not that bad. However it needs paint touch ups, and I am looking for top notch paint work. Would you recommend the workshop you had the car painted from? Was the car painted in a paint booth? Please let me know the details.

Also, which company tail light did you install? There are multiple companies but of pathetic quality and most of them turn yellow after a while.

And how much did it cost to rebuild the carb?

This car in particular was mostly in good condition body was. So paint work isnt extensive, Just minor dent filling and spray.

No the car wasn't painted in the Paint booth.

The cost breakup can be different roughly a rebuild ALTO should cost you around 150 to 180k.

My cost went slightly beyond what i expeceted and can be controlled as per choice.
