as the car now painted, please tell the marked areas......are these the camera flaws or something else.

The engine is healthy, Suspension didn't had any sounds. So started with the cosmetics first. The car kept standing with all keechar had alot of surface rust. Which we belive would go away with a few washes and a caustic acid wash under carriage.

Unfortunately the car comes with main Gadri on the body and not replaceable.

The paint you have marked, This is because of the car being painted in open. No temperature control and cold weather.

Someplaces the lacquer harderner dried earlier then the other.

If you can see or not the rear left fender almost looks like no lacquer has been sprayed there.

All these flaws will be taken care of once all dirty jobs are done with.

Side mirrors I got for 750 each rs. 1500 for pair

Door rust new peices added.

I haven't been able to document this car as I should. But everything has been taken care of carefully.

Things I've missed or too much jald bazzi.

I installed central locking worth rs 7000 and had to replace 2 rear door locks.

Where as Japanese OEM door locks with central locking costed rs. 12000

Complete steering assembly power steering motor would costed rs. 18 to 22k depending on where to buy.

I got steering separately, assembly separately and power Steering motor separately so somewhere I feel I have been choona fied.

Hello Pakwheelers, Its been a long time since i had got involved in a project other than smaller things. This car belongs to a chaddi friend of mine who is the single one owner since the car bought from showroom and has been a workhorse for him meeting his regular demands while he was only using the car and not taking care of the car as a person should do with a car that remains in the family. the only maintenance he does was oil / air filter change, some belts and no other maintenance.... I am only confused about the rust at the shocker mounts. That looks very bad. rest is alhamdulillah taken care of.

I am skeptic about painting the engine room. Engine utarna parega. Although the initial plan was to swap it with a 660cc engine but for now keeping the same engine.

Some how what everyone keeps saying is that the weight of this engine is too heavy for the body.

Got Shehzadi home, Got new shoes

New Alto stupnies, HUB covers, and brand new general tires 13"

Final rubbing polish and a few itsy bitsy things are left.

Till then the paint settles.

-Inter cleaning
-dashboard needs attention, I've seen a video on YouTube that coconut oil works to restore the dashboard, will try that
-AC work
-Got new number plates today aswell.

official fees is rs.2450 ( if you go your self)

Agent fee is Rs. 6000 (Includes everything)

When collecting you have to take orignal plates and file to exchange new plates and your entire file is stamped "SECURITY FEATURED PLATES ISSUED"

If you can get the door pillars blacked out, she'll be quite the looker. Also is it wise to use a synthetic 5w40 in this? It might cause every seal to leak lol.

Tried coconut oil on the dashboard. Turned out of be amazing.

Thanks to this guy on YouTube.

Everyone suggested replacing or repainting the dashboard.

Not sure about 5W40, I'm using 10W30 Caltex Havoline.

F10a is a very old engine has heating issue from what I have heard but never experienced with my ownership,

10w30 is fine too. That's the thinnest these F series engines can go.

I remember when Suzuki replaced gear oil on my Suzuki Alto VXL AGS R06A and they poured in 90W Gear oil.

What a fuss was created. Eventually they replaced it with 75W free of cost after atleast 10 days worth khuari.

Filhal I've drained 1 can of oil and driven around 300 kms on new oil I plan to replace it at around 1500/2000 km and check the condition and quantity of engine oil.

My newer Suzukis go upto 10,000 kms on 0W20 also same is received by PakSuzuki now.

Not sure about heating for now my car is particular doesn't have a thermostat and the fan is direct too.

I was initially running on water. Later have replaced it with Aisin green coolant.

Been driving around for a week things look decent. If all is clear will first turn off direct fan to Auto and then install thermostat.

Since the radiator is serviced, The needle doesn't move beyond C, only goes up to C when the AC is turned on.

Since the car has been home for a week now.

Since the car has been cleared of most of the sounds, I can hear dug dug from front left shock absorber and i dont feel very confidenet about the cars lower arms so have decided to replace the suspension.

Lower arms, Ball joints, Tie Rods are scheduled to be replaced for peice of mind, Will later look in to the rear suspension aswell.

Other things that have been cleared are

• Got Power Steering installed / Steering also replaced (Blunder i didnt buy the whole thing with console, Headlight assembly)
• Changed the head unit with a Pioneer one with Blue Tooth
• Installed Chinese Central Locking and had to replace 2 rear door locks (Blunder Japanese Original locks with Central locking are available from Scrap they go bolt on)
• Driver Door inside opener broke (Replaced)
• Seats have been fixed / Seat covers added
• ACs Compressor Bearing is fixed, The pipe connecting condenser to compressor had burst probably due to welding work done on the front of the car

Gave the car back for compounding.

Both front fenders and rear left fender had to be redone. Because of paint defects.

i guess the painter didnt painted in one go thats why the paint differ. in the last pic the driving door is also giving some different texture.
have you adjsuted the headlights beams? while the bumpers were out.

as in the picture, please paint the b pillars and door frames black.
please also take care of the areas behind the front mudflaps as these are dust accumuling areas creating rusts buckets.

The car was painted in one go, Both front fenders and rear fender are resprayed baqqi poori gari pe rough, Sanded hua wa hai, hence fresh and dull paint.

Head lights havent been adjusted yet, Tried doing my self couldnt do it, Will take it to the electritian at night time and then get them settled.

Made sure I applied rubberized undercoating my self.

Try not to let mud accumulate here. Even my 2022 Cultus has rust spots on fender edges can't help karachis dirty environment and water wash.

Wait a second... no side indicators??? Your gonna go with jdm side mirrors with indicators on them?

?? The car originally comes with front and back indicators only.

Doesn't have provision for side or side mirror indicators.

Yes these side .mirrors are annoying when someone closes or moves them.

But I'm not spending 12 to 15k on side mirrors for now.
