Thanks man, now the only problem is about the mentality of our labor class. After sitting home for two months without money, the ustaad jee still wants to take his Friday off, even in the lock down timings he likes to reach the shop by afternoon and even after that he needs an hour time to warm up for the work.

I offered the person to continue with the job and that I will pay him extra money if he is ready to put in the efforts, but as @capsat mentioned multiple times the mentality of this class is to just sit and hibernate in front of the job just to show their families that they are trying to earn bread and butter for them.

My painter asked me to pay him the entire cost of the paint in advance, I refused, he asked me to take the car out, when he saw me doing it he stopped me and said okay I'll do it but material k paise dedein, I told him that once he plans to start, he can come along and I'll buy him the material. Khich k rakho in sab ko nahi to ye wali class baaz nahi ati. I told them paisay tumhari marzi k, kaam meri marzi ka. I went to the workshop and they weren't working, I asked him the reason and he said apki gaari ab eid k baad start karengy, main ne ek do calls ghumayi aur mere bande agaye workshop pe, ab main subha 10 baje bhi jaata hoon to meri gaari k saath lage hote hain. In logoun k saath hamdardi k saath chal kr main ne dekh liya hai k ye sirf apko churi lagate hain, inko sirf labor ki tarha treat karo to ap bhi khush aur ye bhi.

@uzeemujeeb if you'll watch my videos, you'll get an idea of how frustrated the labor is because of my presence at the workshop because I'm watching them do every single thing and recording it. I reach the workshop at 10:30 sharp and sit all day till 5:30 when they start leaving. They don't get the margin of their jugaars

Brother in my opinion, even with all the odds it is better to help this class rather than paying to beggars. With the COVID situation, things have already gone very bad and are expected to further deteriorate in coming months.

With no offence to anyone, I have observed that all major roads and streets of the city are full of non-local professional beggars who are trying to disguise themselves as workers/ labourers out of their jobs. This infestation has seriously affected the locally settled working class both financially and socially as the help (ration etc) is not reaching to the genuine needy people.

Another aspect is that if you are giving alms to a skilled worker, then you are actually turning him into a beggar.

I completely understand your perspective bro, but the COVID situation has damaged every class in a certain way, I lost my job as well so it was hard for me to manage the expenses of this project as well, although I had an amount saved up for the project. These guys need to stay committed to their words, he told me that he'll get the money once the car is close to the paint job since I paid him half the amount in advance already, now if he's going to demand for more money just because he's out of it but they're not working on my car either, then it's injustice to the project and myself. Before I paid him, he told me he'll get the base prepared within 2 weeks, this is the 3rd week and 5 parts are still left, I won't pay him a single penny until and unless he shows me the work that he has charged me for.

Brother, my guy restarted working on the car himself without asking for money. It was me who offered extra money as incentive to focus on the work. But as I mentioned, he was not motivated by the offer too.

Financial situation in Pakistani lower and middle class has been worsening day by day, even before Corona. And now after this pandemic I believe it's our duty to the state to help the people come out of this without them losing their life, skills, and self respect.

Update on the project is that the car is ready for the paintwork as per the denter as he called to visit and check the car. Unfortunately I am out of city and my brother is busy in his university exams so we can't visit the car. Once my brother visits the car, will be uploading latest status
