Did your denter make the necessary door adjustments before making the lines? They do look sharp, they're unclear as the rust is hiding them but I'm sure they'll come off as they should, be sure to look into any required adjustments so that the lines are aligned when the car gets it's first deco coat.

I asked my denter to make the door adjustments first before he starts blaming me for not supervising his work properly, once he was done with the adjustments, I gave him the green signal to move towards the next step. Hopefully my car will be on roads by the 10th of next month.

As per his words he has done all adjustments, but as I am out of city I have not checked it myself. It was atleast after 3 to 4 weeks that my brother visited the car.

please dont forget to make the holes under the doors for water outlet.

i will use Rustoleum black for all patched sections over the 4 doors before base prep for paint.
once the paint is done finished i will again do the same over doors with more precision.(not as illustrated)

also please ask your brother to check the doors for free movement and single click lock for alignment of hinges. The ustaad shall use bitumen tape ( tarkool wala) as sealing under the hinges after scrubbing the rust and applying a base coat.

further more when base is prepared make sure you are there to supervise 'manjhai' ALL doors closed and in long strokes so that when finished closed doors does not appear to be chewing each other

check the marker for reference. The truck finishing speaks of Idiot painter skipping the basic finishing skill playing with wallet of owner.

i'd suggest dynamat pieces pasted to door inner skins after rust cleaning and coat of rust proof paint. @nnabeel sab suggested correct to drill some holes for rain water drain. rain water seeps only when door channels and side skirtings are deshaped or pinched at multiple points.

its been 3rd year now am looking for a denter to work under my instructions to restore a 1979 Corolla. I show them the car they see her inside out and upon discussion they run away saying " gari ki denting karni hai ya ghara-ray mai sonay k taar sai mai moti tankna hain saheb ap koi aur dhondh loo " they don't even give the digit figure estimate

Noted. I haven't finalized the painter yet and have no plans of doing so until the car is 100% finished from denting. The denter ustaad has been working on his own and is progressing slowly. As per my requirements, the car is still long way from finishing, so once the ustaad jee declares the car completed from his end only then I will start with the finishing touches which are gonna take atleast a month based on the speed of ustaad jee

monsoon has started please request the denter ustaad to use paint brush and oil coat the exposed metal & patched points over the vehicle. ( you may have to provide a 4 inch brush and used engine oil to him as well ) leave it over the vehicle while working over other panels and not to leave any section exposed.
