I personally think the speed has reduced since the denting work has started. People around say that the denter is doing a good job so you should let him take his time. Therefore, I am not interrupting his work. He has promised Tuesday as the D-day so I am looking forward to it.

The denter is doing his work slow and steadily but the quality of work is quite good. Today he will finish the left side plus the boot and tomorrow he will adjust the front and rear. Right side has been completed and the painter have started making base for the paint work. So the pace have started. On one side is the denter and on the other is the painter. New lights and bumpers would be bought tomorrow hopefully.

I have asked him to keep the layer as thin as possible. I don't want the doors and rest of the body to be heavy.

For the sake of opinion; if one has an old car (2003 SE Saloon) with good engine and low milage on ODO...but having many scratches / lines (no major dent; just one curve above tyre needs denting)....now I want to sell it, just waiting that deliveries from Indu$ gets normalized...what you guys suggest, should i shower it/get painted etc before selling it or sell it as is...? I am not posting pictures as it will spoil the thread

Just get it compound polished once so that the minor scratches may fade. In Pakistan, whether you get a new paint job on your car which is better in every term from the local companies, you won't get money for it. We like the crap given to us by the company because like RetardedBuddy said, it would be "genwan".

The engine is fine atm. Got its tappets adjusted and other mechanical work done. Baqi, jab chalay gi to saath saath maintenance hoti rahay gi...

Yes this "istaree" shape City is a common car. I hope this thread proves to be helpful for other people.

Regarding advancer; I am having a feeling that the CNG kit might go off. Well, I will discuss it with other members related to the car but I myself am not in the favor of a CNG kit in an automatic transmission car.

My friend's brother is in used car business...he offered saying; you need to give this car to me...i will work on it and sell it making 1 or even more lacs easily

I dont know whats in his mind; but I guess selling it as-is after some polish etc is fine...atleast i dont have to tell lies and I might sell it to that guy...he offered good enough; but I will check from market. Lets hope new car delivery issue gets resolved by Dec/Jan. Thanks guys for feedback!

That would be fine. Plus white car doesn't look that bad as compared to the cars having metallic colors.

HAHA!Exactly what I had in mind when I had my Liana 07 repainted.I didn't give a d@mn too what everyone said.I had it painted because I wanted a scratchless ride (H).

Get your car compound poilished and have the bumpers painted.
You will get somewhat more money.

Please tell your denter to remove the side mirrors before painting. Also do not install these and the door strips until the painter polishes the paint!

P.s Can you please pm me the cost of denting + painting and from where are you getting it done? I am getting a 91 sunny in a day or two and the body needs work :S
