Just curious about the transmission. Is it 4 speed or 5 speed?

If 4 speed then why is there option of shifting to 4 besides D?

its 4 speed.. the option is . if u want to drive the ar manual u select the gears .. from 1-4.. as you wish when u want to.. switch gears. i never used it to be honest no need at all.

I got a c180 1999 model sport variant driven 38000 miles and its got the same dials you ordered. Try looking at the interior of the sports variant it has carbon fiber wrapping for inside the car looks amazing. I'm not the biggest fan of the current trim. Loving the car though looks amazingly clean.

i will try get hold of these things. and send them with the car.. my ar i swithout sunroof but good .. for brakes. i already changed discs and pads...... before al this work. brand used diamond.. the brakes work amazingly well so smooth.. . i am thinking about changing brake lines to after market ones.. n get rid of the rubber ones.. stainless steel are quiet reliable.. but still double minded about it

The gleitpaste is amazing - its a lubricant paste that does not attract dust. It is used as brake pad slide lube on the caliper carrier, it is not applied to the pin area.

The best brakes for your car are made by Textar or Jurid - nothing else compares to those soft brake pads - for the pipes use OE PEX or Brembo rubber items - your car is a small engine variant and I doubt you will ever push these brakes to their limits.

combined all the money spent. its still cheap than local.. 2011 used cars. ur 2013 model.. especially the crappy looking civic.. for 25grand you kidding me.........
and it comes no where close to comfort... safety drive and performance. close to the MB.. comparing that with the 1999 model..
this car has so many features with the new cars dont have..

air bags in doors steering dash........ from and rear crimpling zones .. in the body incase of impact to provide maximum safety to the passenger.

MB did lots of reasearch and testing in producing these. cars.. youtube isnt working.. otherwise i would post some links of crash texting etc.. you would be amazed.

after all people do buy local overpriced crap, brand new and spend 4-5 lacs on it
so why not on a solid old benz
your car already stands out. good luck.

i think brembo brakes are good i was thinking to upgraded to drilled brembo ones in future with brembo pads. .. there are stainless steel lines for performance ars.. rubber has tendency is perish after age.. the stainless ones look good plus.. they last a life time.. its one of the few unnecessary things i plan to do in future..

also thinking of painting calipers.. i think i will do them gunmetal silver.. not red.. i think red look cheapp.

Lets say it is 4 speed. Now suppose you are driving at around 70km / hr in and lever is in D. That means the car is in 4th gear. Now if you move the lever to position 4, it should not make any difference or does it ?

no.. D mean that the car selects its gear automatically.. its mean the gears will go upto 4.... automatically.... it makes no difference

if i selll it i would with the goods price.. its rare stuff even here in UK let alone PAK. i will sell it with the stuff but i wouldnt sell the car anyways.. there is no good replacement in that price range.. for a car like that..

i got the chrome trim fittied around my guages as well i am just waiting for my dad to send the pics.. it looks better compared to this.. and looks stock..
and it has a special switch u can adjust brightness.. and colour option o light blue or dark blue plasma

mate iff you ever driven corolla diesel pakistani.. 2000 models. 2c engine.. if you know its average..

this car gives the save average.. with far greater comfort and power. this car has kick.. and i have set up the gear rations myself. kick down as well.. there are 2 kick down. modes.. one of chessy driving.. and one to full revs... i have never enjoyed a car so much .. a had lots of new german cars.. 5 series .. w211.. etc. but this is the best. of all.. just perfect would be the word.. i just top up tank with 25% hi octane every now and then. keeps the engine crisp

I agree with you carbon doesn't look good but I fell in love with it in the merc it looks dam nice. I'm not the biggest fan of wood trim because it looks very old and doesn't look good. But to each is his own.

thanks buddy yea it took time gathering the parts.. searching for the car and my one month holiday after 3 years . in pak .. i spent it all on the car
bu it made me so happy.. drove 2000miles already on my own in a month

elegant and calss is in the wood.. look.. if you are racing the car the carbon fibre...... its for every use. a thing to drive around with class.. trust me... wood is goood.

thats traction control. its comes in c200 upwardss.... my car has traction control but you cant switch it off so i have manual done switched it off.. th car is tail happy.... so happy drifting........ trust me every corner i take in Islamabd with this thing i go spining the wheels. i miss the time already
