@Xulfiqar Can't you just secure the spring with a heavy duty tow cable to something nearby and then go to town with it?

That spring has a shit ton of energy stored. And a cable can slice you if let go. And it also has an issue of unloading after installing.

Too much violence to handle. Id rather use the compressor

Yeah that. I have an original Klann, was just wondering for those fellas who can't source one. Just ordered control arms for my W124 from pelicanparts (Lemfos) and don't have my compressor with me in Pk. What are my options? I'm handy at building one, so let's see.

The problem with mb springs is that they are extremely long. Unlike every other car. Even with unloaded suspension they are quite a way compressed

True. First time I installed sportline springs on my 300CE I was amazed how tall the springs stood. That is one real strong perch holding it in.

Quick question: Why is OE MB equipment cheaper to Lemf parts (i.e - 155 bucks for OE control arms compared to ~190 bucks for Lemforders)? I understand that OEs have revised design for 124s. I like the former for being able to press new BJs in.
